I arrived late on sunday night, although i did not see the taxi that was supposed to meet me i only had to walk out of arrivals to get one,beware of taxi drivers as i was charged 25 euros to get to the hotel but only 12 for the return trip with a better company arranged by reception.Reception staff brilliant nothing was too much trouble.Food in the resturant was good but over priced very small steaks.I stayed in room16 and had bathrooms from 15 & 17 ajoing me and the noise is really obtrusive especially when inconsiderate guests come in after midnight and take a shower.Only 10 minutes walk to the city centre downhill so remember it's uphill coming back but fairly easy.

The hotel was 10 minutes far from the centre by walk; very pleasant people and very helpful! To be recommended to everyone who looks for a nice staying in Bratislava.

The Hotel Antares is a exellent hotel. I stayed there in March 2005, not long after the hotel had opened. The hotel was very clean, and modern with nice furnishing. The hotel staff where very helpfull, and the resteraunt which served breakfast and dinner was very good. The only down side, was the security / buzzer system to open the hotel door, garage. I think this is a throw back, from the communist era. Otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this hotel.
How to reach Hotel Antares
By train
From the main railway station, take bus n. 93 and get off at Hodzovo namestie stop. Take the underpass to reach the bus stop in front of the Presidential Palace and take trolleybus n. 208 to its terminus (Sulekova). You will see the hotel in front of you.
By airplane
From the Bratislava airport take bus n. 61 to the railway station and follow the aforementioned indications.
