Hotel Botel Marina - Bratislava

Siamo rimasti molto contenti di questo botel, è veramente molto originale. Le stanze sono un pò piccole, ma è tutto relazionato al fatto che sia un battello, ad ogni modo ci sono anche stanze più grandi di quella che ho prenotato io. Alla reception sono tutte molto gentili, e professionali. Il centro storico è veramente a 5 minuti a piedi, non c'è bisogno di prendere alcun mezzo pubblico e alla fine anche per il resto della città va bene camminare poichè è tutto molto raccolto. Mi aspettavo una colazione più varia, ma nel complessivo ripeto che siamo contenti della scelta poichè è molto originale dormire su un battello ormeggiato nel Danubio. Ringrazio tutti coloro che hanno contribuito a farci trascorrere un bellissimo soggiorno in questo botel!

Hotel is OK but dont't go to the restaurant. In french : le resto indien dans le bateau est sans interet, service lamentable et CB non acceptée. à éviter

no hay ubicación en la calle de donde esta el hotel, nos tardamos en encontrarlo pues esta en el mero rio... por lo demas super a gusto!

Small rooms, but that was part of the charm of a botel. Venere's room rate was excellent and appropriate, but if I'd payed the full rate, I would've felt ripped off. The bed spreads didn't look clean and the whole place seemed to need a cleaning, paint touch-up, and repairs. The first girl at the front desk was a bit snotty, but the second girl was sweet and helpful. Overall worth the experience if you get a good rate.

A very pleasant and relatively low cost place to stay in Bratislava. Receptionists were very nice and helpful. It's not comparable with global brands in terms of space, comfort and facilities, but that's no bad thing in my opinion. I would use it again.

Sleeping on the Danube it's exciting! It's a short walk from the city center and the castle is just above the hotel...

Room was clean and very well organized. It had almost everything according to the fact it was made out of a boat cabin. Free wifi internet connection and stuff was very kind and professional as gave us all pieces of information a turist may need. Breakfast seemed to be poor as we entered the colorful indian style breakbast room. Then, we discovered we had all we needed :) I'll come back again; spring time with my girlfriend :)

The botel boasted an indian reataurant available on site. On the first night we could not access this due to a private function being held. We had not been given notice of this until we actually went to the restaurant to have a meal and we were very dissappointed to be turned away.

The staff is nice and helpful. The room is kept clean but very small and double bed rooms the beds are separated. The AC is very noisy but if you switch it off the room gets stinky with the foul smell of the river. The internet PC near the reception is very helpful.

We were on an overnight stop, visiting from Budapest, and needed somwhere central(ish)in order to get round as many sights as possible. Bit pricey for the actual room, but the facility to go out on deck with a cup of coffee made up for this. Actually, one of the best riverside cafe spots you could hope to find in Bratislava! Service was very friendly and reception desk was very helpful.Air conditioning in the room didn't work, but by the time we realised this itwas too late to do much - I'm sure they would have fixed it. Very quiet in the room. We would certainly return to this hotel if we were in Bratislava again.

Service was hit and miss - mostly miss. On our final day we got a desk clerk who was very helpful, although she yelled at other guests. When we arrived, we got the really mean one. When I tried to use the internet kiosk she simply said "it broke". When we asked about the UFO cafe, she said she had no idea what it cost or why anyone would go there (it turned out to be lovely). When we sat for dinner in the Indian restaurant upstairs they told us it would be an hour before our dinner could be made, so we left. Breakfast was uninspired. The rooms were very small (which we expected), and the price was high (but as advertised, and comparable). The location was a bit further from the city center than we were led to believe. A bit of a walk each time, and not in a particularly nice or interesting area.

FOR ME WAS THE FIRST TIME IN BRATISLAVA. THE FIRST BUT NOT THE LAST-BEAUTIFUL CITY, HOLIDAY EVERY NIGHT,VERY NICE GIRLS,BOTEL IN DANUBIO SUPER AND NEAR THE CENTER.

The location of this Botel Marina is great. Room is tiny. Breakfast was acceptable. Restaurant was smokey meaning ventilation is poor. Room appeared to be clean. We were not there most of the time so for sleeping, it was adequate. Two nights stay is the most anyone can handle in the tiny room. Staff seemed friendly but unable to help too much due to lack of English language.

Directions from train station to botel were not adequate and resulted in a long walk; need tram instructions. Young blond receptionist more interested in being cute than in paying attention to guests; she was on the phone excessively. Restaurant was closed for a private party--not a great idea for location.

nice holidays in botel marina, nice hotel! the rooms are little, but clean and with all facilities like hairdryer, minibar etc. very good breakfast!!! al the end,a good hotel for short olydays
