Room was very dated and tired looking. Could have done with a make over. Compared to over hotels I have stayed in, this was very over priced, for the standard of accommodation. Bedding was clean, but think they forgot to dust and wipe down in the room.

Extremely dirty place stains in linen not sure if they we changed bathroom still have hair everywhere room not hoovered liquid marks on furniture seems like body fluid overall avoid this place as it's not even worth 1% of what it charges. Having to leave your key at reception all the time as ok by me but why only one receptionist it takes at least 30 mins to get them back really under staffed

We decided on a superior room - don't know why we bothered! No hot water for first day and evening - no warning on arrival or apology from Manager. When we did have hot water the following day, the spa bath did not work. Big hole in wall surrounded by huge patch of crumbling plaster only held together by the wall paper. Curtains hanging off rail - wouldn't close properly. Very disappointed.

We stayed for 4 nights including a weekend. The hotel was very good. The outside of the premises was clean and striking. The inside of the hotel is in some need of refurbishment, but the friendliness of the management and staff more than compensated for this. The hotel is situated about 15 minutes walk from both the town and sea front, but in addition appears to be on all the major bus routes. We found the free WIFI in the lounge and bar area very useful during our stay. With regard the food, we had relatives visit us at the hotel and ordered a cream tea at very short notice. Our visitors complimented the food and service provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

an overnight stay which was not refreshing. Noisy and inconsiderate people in the next room arriving at 2 am having rows and banging on doors off and on until 4.30 am. The night porter came up on two occasions and each time it happened to be quiet. But not a good stay and breakfast was not very hot either although the staff were kind.

Drunken and noisy people that eventually were thrown out of the building by police. But as we were a couple of rooms down from them - it ruined our stay. One of the receptionist could not speak english so she gave me wrong directions! Your room service would not deliver unless I went downstairs with my card!! Never had that before. In fact it was a total disaster and the noise from the other room gave us no sleep. We were going to book another night but ended up staying at another hotel the Newbury. Advice DON'T STAY THERE go to the Newbury -much nicer.

This was the first time that I had stayed at the Roundhouse andfound it to be a very satisfying stay even for jut the one night. Staff were very friendly and welcoming at all times and were very helpful wih all the questions we asked. The facilities were lovely and I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again in the future. Thanks for an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

From leaflet left in room better deals seem to have been available than that offered us. Hotel needs a good modernisation paintwise and colour scheme. Early morning call received both mrinings at 5.30 and we hadn't ordered one. Need to be sure about who is getting these.
