Hinton Firs Hotel - East Cliff, Bournemouth

We did not think the room was worth the money,we were in a room at the side of the hotel in the cottage, very old fashioned.

I was pleased with the updated decor in the room.I might have had a meal there if there was a sample menu in the room.Parking was a bit tight.

I can not say enough about the wonderful staff at this hotel, without exception, the treatment I received was first rate. I would recommend this hotel. Very friendly, excellent location, great food.

Clean, friendly staff, ok location for town centre, needed a one night stay for a conference - perfect.

We spent only one night having booked at the last minute. The hotel was not the main feature of our short break in Bournemouth. We would happily stay in the Hinton Firs again.

Was the first time we stayed here, would return, but was disappointed that our "double" room was two single beds pushed together as it was quite uncomfortable.

I was made to feel very welcome. I received a complimentary upgrade into a double room overlooking the swimming pool. And breakfast in the morning was perfect. A good hotel.

The reception staff welcoming. The room was very clean although compact. The TV had very poor reception. The ensuite was a completely different matter. It smelt musty and damp, was cramped. The shower was unusable due to there being almost no water coming out of the shower head, and the dribble that was refused to get hot. The shower cubicle was probably clean, but did not give that impression due to the amount of black mould on the sealant and grouting. The breakfast was good, if a little greasy.

The Hotel was good and we enjoyed our stay there.
