mostly used as a conference centre but good position for short city breaks. machines in the gym not the most modern!

There were 2 little bathrooms in the big room, one had such a small shower impossible to use. For the breakfast, some of the servers were not friendly and not professional at all, but it's fine for a 3 star hotel.

Excellent central location. Needed a triple room- Venere was $80 cheaper than all other hotel booking sites. Was concerned deal would fall through- or would get a small dark room. The room had two bathrooms and was huge!

Very nice stay: the only think that had not excellent rate quality vs price was the breakfast, too expensive.

We had an excellent stay in Boston. The hotel is centrally located. The room was great for the 3 of us. With 2 bathrooms, it made for a comfortable stay.

I stayed two nights there. One through you and one through work. The night I booked with you was CHEAPER than the Conference price. The standard single room was great. It was small, quaint and very antiquated. There were two downfalls: 1. the restaurants in the hotel were expensive 2. there was no bathtub in the room just a shower. Venere booked 3 nights instead of the one that I requested sot that was a big mistake. Luckily the hotel changed it.

For the price, in this location, the hotel is very good value. Located on the opposite side of Boston Common to the city centre and a T-stop so close, it is a perfect base for any holiday type. We had the delux double room. Big wow factor with the main lobby and the room being so big (espically liked the 2 bathrooms and the fantastic water pressure in the shower!!). Some big negitives you will need to be warned about so as not to take from the exceptional value we were offered here. 1) The "Hot" buffet breakfast was cold so don't bother, get a contenental breakfast and have a nice brunch later in the city. 2) Despite the good first impression, the hotel is showing its age in places. 3) The heater / Air Con was a little noisy in the room 4) The cable TV is disrupted on the morning you check-out so you won't hang around. 5) Housekeeping knock on the doors at about 08:30 each morning for the same reason.

I'm from the neighborhood in Boston, but, now live in Palm Beach and it is wonderful to stay at many of the hotels that I passed by on a daily basis. Just like old friends. I fly to Boston for church most weekends.

Great value, first hotel room I stayed in with 2 bathrooms in the one room. Great space. I'll try your venue again.

We got a deluxe room, which was spacious and included two bathrooms. The room was nice, but the beds were double, not queen; this was not a huge problem, just odd. The bedding was nice, and overall we were pleased with the stay, but the hotel at night is slow at checking in (only one person slowly and without much effort addressing the needs of a line of people checking-in), and there is a VERY LOUD nightclub on the same level as the lobby. This was irritating and very bothersome when checking in at midnight after a long day's journey. But the nightclub noise did not carry to our room -- we were on the fifth floor. I don't know if floors closer to the lobby faired so well. Overall the stay was well worth the price of the room -- it was a bargain, really.

Good hotel in general, very well located. My single room was a bit small, and quite noisy. The people at the concierge were nice and the common areas are fine. Good to stay for some days and just walk into Boston, everything's close.

The extra cost is low, but it is irritating that Internet access is extra. Other than that, my stay was very enjoyable (I have stayed there before). The location is very good, in a city which is one of the USA's best for walking round. The foyer is spectacular, this being an older hotel with more character than most. I can't comment on the leisure or business facilities, since I did not use them, but all the staff I was in contact with were friendly, courteous and efficient. Food in the McCormick and Schmick fish restaurant in the hotel was excellent, service was OK. Not cheap, but then you don't expect bargains in downtown Boston, and I have paid nearly as much for hotels that offered much less.

The hotel lobby looks great, but the appliances and the rooms are a little old and threadbare. Definitely below my expectations, so a little overpriced. Nonetheless, it was a nice stay.

Boston has become incredibly pricey and the spaciousness of the room didn't compare to a room in NYC the week before for less money in a great locale. Room service was available 24 hours and I had no problem ordering food at 4am. The menu was varied and pricing was not high as is usually the case in room service menus. The food was great.

We had two separate stays at this hotel on our vacation. The first time we had two very spacious rooms although one of the rooms would have accommodated us. Before our return visit we changed our reservation for our second stay to just one room and saved a few dollars. The hotel was absolutely lovely and we would definitely stay there again.

The bed linen was a little rough; probably not 100% cotton.

The hotel is well appointed in the public areas, but the rooms were in sad shape. First two nights of a 5 night stay were in a room that had a bed as hard as a rock. On the second night new "next door neighbours" moved in and I discovered that the walls in the hotel were as thin as tissue paper. I asked to be moved, and was moved into a slightly room on another floor. This room smelled strongly of moth balls, was missing curtains, had a closet door handle that kept falling off, a non-functioning TV, intermittently functioning AC outlets and a great sticky spot on the carpet. Not what I was expecting, considering I was paying $230 US per night and this was supposed to be the "Deluxe" service. The staff was generally responsive - the TV was fixed when I asked, but nothing was done about the other issues. I'll find another place to stay in Boston the next time. All this feedback was listed on the "comment sheet" provided by the hotel. Alas, they haven't gotten back to me, so the "Venere" community gets to hear it first.

There was a major problem with my resv. The hotel had me down for the prior night, but my resv (which I printed) had me down for the right night. So the web site has a coding bug in it, and it did not translate the date I chose correctly. Luckily, the hotel had an open room and gave me the same rate. This was almost a disaster, but you should check your web code cuz there is a bug in it somewhere. Thanks.
