A warm welcoming hotel with the most amazing views of the mountains. Our host was second to none and within ten minutes of arriving we were familiar with the whole of Bormio, received very good advice on how to maximie the enjoyment of our short stay, and saved time and money booking ski passes and spa tickets direct from the hotel. The restaurant may not look enticing (maybe dim the lights and add a few candles) but the food was first rate and the service (all family members) was excellent. A thooughly enjoyable time was had and we will be returning to this hotel.

Had to pay for an extra night due to someones mistake in not picking up a booking cancellation. No one willing to accept responsibility. Was told it was my fault. Will not use Venere again. Room was cold.

The hotel is not bad and the people working there do their best to give you the best service. However 96€ per night for a room which was not the best and a poor breakfast were too much. I can't say it's a bad hotel because it isn't: but the quality/price ratio is low.

We had an amazing view from our room. The staff were all very nice. The main prob is that you can hear everything in the rooms on either side and the rooms above you. Breakfast was very basic. Plenty of parking.

Good, functional hotel - facilities exactly as needed although a good walk to the town centre. Would use again.

What a wonderfull welcome by Alberto the owner, after a 3 hour transfer he sorted our rooms straight away. After giving us a very comprehensive rundown on the resort and what we could expect in the forthcoming week, he organised our ski passes and issued them to us, then took us to the ski shop to get fitted with boots and skis.Leaving us to wander around the town (just in time for apres-ski)he took back all the skis and boots (six in group)to the hotel and put them in the hotels locker room. What a star. Bormio operates a flat fare taxi service on zones away from the town. It cost just six euros to anywhere in the town from the hotel for all in our group.

This hotel is nestled in one of the most beautiful valleys I have ever seen. There are mountain ranges in every direction that are aweing. The owners live right across the street and were so friendly that I am going to add them to my Christmas card list. Not speaking much Italian, the waiter in the hotel's restaurant one night decided to give me my own Italian lesson and all of the couples at the surrounding tables joined in! My room was spacious, had three big windows, a wrap-around balcony overlooking the street (which was very quiet!!), and a private bath. The hotel is located about a 15 minute walk from the city center. Wonderful hotel, wonderful city, wonderful people. I can't wait to go back.
