Very welcoming place, with very kind and hearty people (Mrs Wilma and Miss Federica, above all!), familiar but discreet. Very good breakfast and dinner. Convenient location in a nice area: next to ski run, nearby treks, walking distance to the center. Services allow to relax easily and pleasantly. I definitely suggest it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at Genzianella. The hotel was beautifully kept and the staff were all very welcoming and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, it is a lovely place to stay.

Petit défaut à l'accueil : si l'on ne parle italien, c'est vraiment difficile de se faire comprendre. Je parle pourtant français, anglais et allemand ! La chambre, très spacieuse, très bien décorée, mais pas de vue (vélux). Une belle adresse quand même.

By car
From Milan follow the tangenziale nord, exit at Cisinello Balsamo, then take the superstrada towards Lecco, until you arrive to Colico, then take the s.s.38 and follow directions for Sondrio, Tirano and Bormio.
From Sant Moritz (Switzerland), take the Passo del Bernina and follow the indications to Tirano, then take the s.s.38 towards Bormio.

By train
The closest train station is located in Tirano. Approximately eight train connections leave from the Milan Centrale station to reach the Alta Valtellina region. From Tirano there is a bus service to Bormio.

By airplane
The Milan Malpensa airport is about 230 km from the hotel.
The Milan Linate airport is about 190 km from the hotel.
The Bergamo Orio al Serio airport is about 170 km from the hotel.
