hotel front view Hotel Cepina hotel front view The Cepina Hotel is a magical place, as the locals use to say, and is 1.9 miles/3 km from the center of Bormio, in a peaceful area near Sondrio, Lombardy. This 4-star hotel was built on the foundations of an antique 14th-century tannery.

On the ground floors are located the common areas, such as bar overlooking the garden, nice TV room and quiet reading lounges featuring cozy leather sofas. All of this makes the hotel a sophisticated place for regenerating holidays. For business stays guests will find meeting rooms seating 40 to 150 people.

Pleasant hotel in out of the way place. Location could be better. Appears that rooms have recently been updated. Manager was helpful and provided us a double + single versus a triple for same price due to availability. Overall satisfied.

when i booked this hotel i think that it was located in Bormio, but when i arrived here i dicover that it was located 3 km from here and at adress of this hotel the place indicate only Bormio and not Cepina, i think that you must correct this thing.

How to reach Hotel Cepina

By car
From Milan: take Statale 36 (Milano-Lecco-Colico) and proceed towards Bormio, on SS38. From Valcamonica: through Passo dell'Aprica. From Switzerland: driving past Livigno or Tirano. From Alto Adige: through Passo Stelvio (only during the summer months).

From Tirano (by train from Milan, Milano-Lecco-Colico-Tirano), take one of the buses to Bormio. From Switzerland you can also take the Bernina red train stopping in Tirano.
