les chambres sont bien trop petites pour un 4 étoiles, la sdb qui donne sur la chambre est d'aspect tres moderne mais manque un temps soit peu de discrétion.

Both my friend and I stayed at Quality Suites and I speak on behalf of the both of us whenI say that my experience was less than satisfactory. I found the staff to be very rude and unhelpful. Given the poor location of the hotel, I would have assumed that the hotel staff would have been happy to assist my friend and I in organising various activities during our time in Bordeaux. In contrast to my assumptions, the front desk were most unhelpful and unpleasant. Further to this, the hotel advertised a laundry service which seemed to be non exsistant. In terms of value for money, I do not feel that this hotel lived up to its expectations. I will not be staying at this hotel in future.

Hotel Quality Suites Bordeaux Begles has some very distinct advantages. Proximity to anything is not one of them. This hotel is built for the guest with transportation - it's in the middle of an industrial area. The bus is a 5 minute walk, the tram to downtown is a 20 minute walk, the hotel is a 5-minute, 15 Euro cab ride from Gare St. Jean. The Harley dealership next door will be audible during the day, but they close up at night. Bottom line - if you are going to Bordeaux to see Bordeaux the city, stay downtown. If you are going to Bordeaux for tourism, you have transportation and do not plan to spend much time in the city of Bordeaux, this is the place for you. Annoyances: Both baby cribs did not function properly. The downstairs door is automatic, but the lobby door is not. The hall lights are on a motion switch. The hotel hosts receptions for busses full of tour groups, individual reservation holders are not invited (as far as I could tell). Mini-kitchen but no kitchen implements. Good points: Easy highway access, trams to downtown if you don't mind the walk to get there, modern rooms, microwave/fridge/stovetop in the room allows you to do baby bottle maintenance and store food from the Carrefour right down the road.

The hotel is well outside Bordeaux. It is in an industrialised area and you cannot see the river because of the Motorbike shop. The hotel is ok but the reception is one floor up which does not make it the most welcoming place in the world as you have to negotiate a lift or stairs before you see a human being. The staff were nice enough but this is not a hotel for someone wanting to stay in Bordeaux.
