Hotel Des Quatre Soeurs - Bordeaux

This hotel is in a very good location with restaurants and supermarket in the same street. There are shops a short stroll away. Near a station. We were lucky enough to have a small balcony, the rooms are very small, so I would request this for some more space. The bathroom is also very small. The room is clean and has a fridge. Wifi is also available, free of charge. Breakfast available at a cost (we did not have this). I felt this was expensive for what we had, but this is also Paris.

A great location just a few doors down from the tourist info office, bus, trams, cafes etc.

The only problem with my hotel was that my very nice room had large low windows that opened onto a courtyard that had an unlocked door. The reception desk was, despite their claims, often unmanned and anyone could slip in and into my bedroom if,as I wanted to, I left the windows open. I asked them to lock the door to the courtyard but they refused, saying it was totally safe and anyway guests could go out there and smoke (thankyou very much!!). That was my only grumble, though, because the hotel was small and unimportant but in the most perfect location and very clean and pleasant.

Location was superb, right in the centre by the Tourist Information office. Easy to walk anywhere or to take tourist bus, which we did. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was a bit small, but quiet and clean. Both bathroom and bedroom could do with refurbishment, but perfectly adequate for a night or two. Breakfast OK, but dining space very cramped. Would definitely stay again, as we considered it very good value for money all round.
