Parkhotel Luna-Mondschein - Bolzano

We discovered this place by accident in 2010. There was a lovely traditional restaurant in the front. It's gone now, replaced by a noisy bar but the hotel remains quiet and comfortable. But the fabulous breakfast is worth the trip to this lovely city and the location is perfect: central but looking over a little park and away from street noise. My favorite city and hotel.

We spent a night at Bolzano on our way to Lake Garda and wanted to allow ourselves something more noble for the stay in the city the next day, which was successful: Pretty rooms with a classy design that goes with the building style. Nice old park with old trees that you would perhaps not expect in the city centre. Perfect: The hotel is situated right next to one of the old town's most attractive shopping streets, the Via dei Portici (Laubengasse). Their own restaurant is high-class. If you're searching for something priced more economic, there are some restaurants in the alleys in front of the hotel, for example in Via dei Bottai. For those coming by car: We recommend using the car park right next to the hotel, because naturally, there is not much alternative space for parking in the old town streets. You can enter the hotel directly from the garage, they have a special hotel rate of around €10,- a day.

A brief holiday in the Dolomites. Enjoyed our stay to the extent that we booked an extra night. Location of hotel in the centre of Bolzano & within walking distance of the funivia. Staff exceptionaland buffet breakfast amazing. Will definately stay there again.

It's very good hotel, but if I pay 140 Euros I'd like to have free WiFi almost.

Centrally located. Very happy with the girl's helpfulness at the front desk. We have been in Italy for about 2 weeks already and my daughter said this hotel has the best blanket. And it really does.

Great hotel and probably the best breakfast we had in all the places we stayed at in Italy over 4 weeks. Although it cooled down at night and it was comfortable, we were a little surprised that a 4 star hotel did not have air conditioning. The hotel grounds were like a park setting and it was nice to have breakfast outside in the beautiful gardens. Hotel is very central to everything and close to the train and bus station as well.

Hotel overpriced and poorly staffed. Initially given a room during heat spell without air conditioning although air conditioning was listed in internet. Staff uncooperative and bad natured. Bolzano although in Italy is really German. don't expect Italian services.

I would recommend a walk through the nice streets of the centre. Stop at Ca' de Bezzi, just 100 mt far from the hotel, there is a very well known brewery where you can taste tirolese cookery.

Very good location in the center of the city and pleasant stay. The internet wireless connection was not available at our floor (check in advance if you need one). Leisure facilities (gym, swimming pool) would be appreciated.
