Great city center location, can get a little noisy on the weekends, but not bad. Old building updated with a 1990s modern look, not my style but ok. Location is good if you are new to the area. To bad the spa was closed when we were booking, they did not mention that online. Staff was was friendly, and it was the the best breakfast I have EVER had when traveling. Get the breakfast deal, you wont be sorry.

We loved this hotel! The staff was very helpful and friendly, the prices were good and the location couldn't have been better. There's even a bar and restaurant downstairs with outside seating. I'd certainly stay there again.

This was our first time to Bolzano. The general area and the town are absolutely wonderful, an exceptionally beautiful drive! The hotel was exactly as advertised. Perfectly located and very comfortable. Perking was in underground garage attached to the hotel, very convenient. We would definately stay here again.

This hotel was wonderful. It is an excellent location in the center of the city, close to the train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms and hotel were very clean. There was some noise, but not excessive given the location in the city center. The spa looked very nice, though we did not use it. I'd highly recommend this hotel, great value for the money as well.

Delightful hotel, staff and service excellent, very centrally placed in a charming town. Some street noise inevitable, but no other drawbacks at all.

Spent three days at the Città di Bolzano-Stadthotel in May 2009. Amazing (AMAZING!) location right on the corner of the main town square. Staff is excellent. Rooms are large, although simply furnished. Breakfast is large and filling.

The hotel is very old and it's a smell of "sauna" in th lobby. The room is very average/ The breakfast is excellent. The hotel is overpriced, maybe for the great location.

We stayed overnight at Bolzano while driving from UK to Southern Italy, and would certainly recommend it as a most beautiful place in which the hotel has a perfect setting. The accommodation was first class and the meals marvellous!

This hotel is in the very centre of the main square, and it is within walking distance of the station. Everyone was very friendly and most efficient. There is a restaurant and bar downstairs which was useful as the weather was cold. I highly recommend this hotel, for the efficiency and warmth of the staff, and the good facilities.

Very convenient location overlooking the town square and if the clouds had dispersed a little more, a gorgeous view of the mountains. A little hint... the front door of the hotel is located at the back right hand corner as you face the hotel. A sign would be nice for the weary traveller walking with luggage from the train station. But our stay there was lovely and enjoyed the breakfast that was included.

Excellent value for money. We stayed over the Xmas period and had a very relaxing time. The Christmas Eve meal on th 24th was a little poor, only because I think the kitchen couldn't cope with demand. Very good breakfasts, excellent coffee and bar with great staff. The position of this hotel is its best feature. I would recommend anyone staying in Bolzano to stay here

Very good hotel. The hotel position is amazing (perfectly in the city center). The only little flaw is the cost of the parking (17euro) not included. The spa is a nice place and it's free, and it's a perfect stop for a late saturday afternoon in a city where shops close a bit early. The sumptuos breakfast is a usual feature for Sudtirol's hotels.

Fantastic location if a bit challenging to access by car. Wished we'd stayed longer to explore the town more. Wonderful breakfast with international flair. Spa services looked very nice.

Bolzano is a charming town and is conveniently located to make day trips to the mountains, vineyards, the city of Verona, Lake Garda and other charming venues. The Hotel Citta is conveniently located in the center of town, the underground parking is a bit pricey but worth it (especially as there is no parking to be had on the city streets and the parking fine is expensive). The rooms are very clean and fairly quiet given the location and size of the hotel. If you don't like noise, be sure ask for a room to the courtyard. The breakfast spread is good and the coffee is excellent. The staff is friendly, the cleaning staff were impeccable and the lady at the sauna/wellness facility was immaculate. This is not a wellness hotel but the wellness facility was very good quality and clean and much appreciated after a day of walking in the mountains. The restaurant is convenient as it is open daily and looks to the center square in town. The food was decent but we found other restaurants where we felt we got a better meal. Bozen is certainly a walking city and small enough so it was not far to another cozy and good restaurant.

This hotel is superb, great location overlooking the central square, good breakfast. Somewhat pricier than other alternatives in Bolzano, but given the location and the quality, well worth it.

A very lovely hotel, excellently located. The room decor is modern and unconventional, clean lines, hard floors. Our room was very clean and pleasant. Breakfast food and dining room service very good. The elevator was not working when we arrived, but was repaired the next day. Two drawbacks: (1) parking in the underground civic lot is not included in the price (15 Euro extra per day). (2) Their fitness/wellness center is closed during the summer months.

The car parking is not free which is not totally clear when reading the website. The hotel gives a deal for the nearby underground city parking lot. 15 Euros pro 24 hours instead of the official 17 Euros.... But overall, very good location for a very nice hotel.

Gutes Hotel an zentraler Lage.

Location is excellent, staff welcoming and ready to fill any need. Had one lovely meal on the edge of the plaza. Perfect setting. Parking not convenient, elvator to parking not operating, elevator in hotel not working, and no evidence that repairs were iminent. No pool and spa, not opened until fall, but this was not mentioned in the ad. This was one reason I selected the hotel. One of our party became ill,and the staff was accomodating with extra pillows and ice. Room opened onto the plaza, which we enjoyed - even the music which we could hear when the window was open. Easy walking distance to the Ice Man.Staff went extra mile to help with computer access in the room.

Very nice hotel; staff was especially helpful; breakfast was delicious--lots of choices;my only complaint was the jacuzzi was not open in the wellness center. That was our main reason for choosing this hotel, which is a bit pricey. Next time we will call ahead first; Hotel is well located--close to train station and Oetzi Museum (which was great!). Enjoyed funicular into the alps also;

The hotel is a good choice for everybody, who likes to be close to the center. the accessability of the parking is verz comfortably, but it is quiet expensive (14 € a day). what i didn't like was, that you could hear what your neighbours speak and do.

We were in Italy 3 weeks and the accomodations and hospitality of the entire staff during our 5 nights at the Hotel Stadt Citta were unsurpassed. Very good location and food. Extra plus is availability of internet at no charge.

A beautiful location in a beautiful part of the Sud Tirol. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are OK. The TV is pretty poor (makes you get out more! :)) Showers are good and plenty of towels. Beds are very comfortable. Biggest weakness is that internet access is poor - only dial-up available in rooms and you have to have your own ISP to sign in to. There is one super slow computer in the lobby with internet too. So I guess it great if you are on holiday but not so good if you are on business.

We arrived on a Sunday and found out the spa was unavailable on Sundays and not available until well after our checkout time on Monday. We should have had some type of discount if amenities are offered, and then not available. Overall, this hotel was good...great breakfast. A bit overpriced, but may be the area of Bolzano.

The hotel is conveniently located in the center of town, only minutes from the railroad station, clean, comfortable and very European. The rooms a bit small for US standards and so are the beds, but the location makes up for that. It is a great place to experience the sites, especially the ötzi Museum and the Chrismas Mart (I was there during December). The breakfast is excellent and plentiful. Dinner is great at the nearby Vögele restaurant.

This is an excellent property in a most attractive town; getting to the parking was difficult for us as we did not have a good enough map. Compared with other hotels we stayed in, it was a little on the exoensive side. Overall, we would stay there again.

The hotel was everything it claimed to be, confortable, warm and with helpful multilingual staff. The breakfast was good and the bread much better than usually found in Italy – it must be that Germanic influence! Bolzano, too, was more interesting and attractive than I expected as we went there only to see 'Oetzi" but found more.

I loved my room overlooking the Piazza Walther... Looking at the facade, it is immediately below the neon word Città. In the evening after dinner I opened the window and pulled up a chair and watched the activity in the square. Light sleepers would do well to bring earplugs, as the church bells ring out at all hours. Loads to do within walking distance of the hotel: markets, fancy shopping, many restaurants, first class archaeological museum. There is a free shuttle to the Castel Roncolo nearby, which I recommend... they will tell you it is a 30 minute walk, but it is closer to an hour! Hotel offers free internet connection set up between the main desk and the dining room. Breakfast was perfectly adequate, but coffee was unaccountably and consistently lukewarm. My only complaint.
