Hotel Alpi - Bolzano

At the center of Bolzano just 100m to the central station. Staff very nice and competent. Room really spacious but only upper floors provide view on the alps. Slightly overheated with no possibility to control temperature. Breakfast and restaurant offering good quality.

The room was very clean, quiet and spacious. Breakfast was hearty and the staff was very kind. The hotel is close to Walther Square, excellent location to visit the xmas market.

We stayed in the hotel Alpi for one night and would gladly stay again. The hotel is well located and the staff were very relaxed, competetent and friendly. Its a lovely town and area. The highlight for us was the large number of gluten free options at the excellent breakfast. The best we have come across. We apent a few days walking near ST Gertraud before this. Wonderful hotel "Ultnerhof" there too

Room at the back. View of the bus station, thus could not open window or shutters. Double room at EUR100 is poor value for money.

The rate Quality/price not so good

Small rooms, overlooking bus station, noisy; cheap and nasty fittings, linens etc, very unpleasant place to stay; awful coffee, basic facilities for business use. staff were pleasant and helpful, though no doorman or bellboy for luggage etc. this was not our first choice, which was full, but our last option. nothing to commend it at all unless you cannot afford anything better. no way should it be a 4 star hotel

Good staff make a good hotel in a place such as Bolzano. It's a small downtown area, and folks should know that, with a better map, they can walk to the hotel from the train station (no taxi required).

The Venere description of the Hotel is reliable but, if you arrive by car, take into account that there are no possibilities to park nearby; hence add directly 13 Euro to the room price to include the internal park, which is very comfortable to use. On the other hand, the hotel internal structure is a bit old, and its four stars feature could be subject of discussion. Enrico and Ludovica - Venezia - Italy
