The room was small but clean and the location was very good. Easy walking distance from the train station and a bit longer walk (but without baggage) to the sights and shopping. The breakfast was excellent. One of the best breakfast buffets we've seen.

A business hotel near the train station and about a 15 minute walk to the historic center. Rooms decent. But the people behind the desk were mean and unhelpful. For the most part, you can get better advice by stopping people on the street.

Very nicely appointed hotel, near the train station. Beautiful public areas, very good breakfast. Staff a bit stiff but polite and proper. Nice room. Only hotel where we know they replace the bed spreads, we saw clean ones wrapped in plastic on the maids carts.

Nice location close to train station. Nice facilities in an olsfashion looking luxury hotel. Unfortunately the WiFi was not working. Soundproffing between rooms couls be improved.

Great hotel, good location, friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay there again. Just one comment, we had a double room but there was only one bath robe, one pair of slippers and one spare pillow.

The initial welcome wasn't great-I think the person was having a bad day. All the other people working on the front desk were very nice. Th breakfast was great and the people working in the breakfast room were extremely helpful. Overall, an enjoyable stay

Received a 4th floor room towards the back of the hotel. 100% quiet, very pleasant stay. Staff was welcoming, helpful and professional. Surroundings not great, but only a 10-15 minute walk to city center. 3 minutes from central train station.

The hotel was fine for just an overnight stay. Very convenient to the train station. The staff were efficient, though not all that welcoming.

We visited in March and the Hotel was great value. The rooms were very clean although we could hear a noisy couple next door arguing during the ads but they did quieten down around 11pm so we didn't need to contact reception. Breakfast was a full buffet and was clean and had a good choice. Hotel is about 10 min walk to the main street and is very comfortable as it is in a quiet area. Underground car parking was advertised for €15 per day but actual price was €18 for overground car parking but this was the only complaint. Would definitely return!

Eccellente posizione vicino alla stazione, 5 miuti a piedi dal centro storico. Hotel di alta qualità, stile un pò "sfarzoso" (può piacere o no a seconda dei gusti)ma nulla da dire sul servizio

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the train station as well as its amenities. It is a lovely hotel. Its location near the train station puts it a bit off the beaten path, but everything is within walking distance. The rooms and common areas are clean and very well-kept. The breakfast is wonderful!!!

Excellent hotel, obviously meant for business travelers but with Venere summer prices an outstanding price-quality relationship. Room was clean and very spacious. Excellent a/c. Mini-bar fridge in room. Receptionist was extremely helpful in helping us get a doctor for a medical emergency. Copious and varied breakfast buffet (with machine-dispensed coffee and some rather odd scrambled eggs the only off notes). Conveniently located a block and a half from the train station; street quiet but without charm. Central Bologna--a short bus ride (or probably about a 20-min walk)--was a delightful discovery.

very conveniently situated for train travellers. Short walk to the city. The hotel is comfortable, clean and quiet. "International" style with no local particulars.

Spent 2 nights on the 1st floor. You need to pay Euro17/day to connect internet (Swisscom). My room has windows only near the ceiling on the wall, and could not see outside. The problem in this hotel seems the noise. You can hear the voice of the next door (do not understand what they say, but ...) and also the noise from the convention room on the ground floor until 23:00. The location is OK, 5 minutes from the station. Breakfast was OK, hot scranbled egg and bacon were available. I can stay there again if the rate is better than others, but not on the 1st floor.

This hotel is suited for single businessmen. Bell man was very helpful and friendly, but the reception staff left a lot to be desired.

Five minutes walk from station, twenty minutes walk to Piazza Nettuno in the historic centre. Breakfast menu excellent, wide choice, many healthy options, and many very unhealthy alternatives.... Reception staff helpful and informative. Excellent value for money.

I stayed in a double room for single use. The room was really nice and spacious. For the price it is an excellent hotel. Breakfast is very rich and nice. The booking from Vener seemd not go through the system so it took 1 hour to check in. But this is usual in Italy. I would stay this hotel again. Ca. 10 minutes walk from center but with car good to park.

Excellent hotel for the price (if they are still available). You are on the ringroad near the station and it is a short (10 minute) walk into town but I presume that's why it was cheaper for us. Would definately go back

The hotel was immaculate. The rooms had slippers and bathrobes. The breakfast was more than we had ever expected. It included many, many more items than the normal Italian coffee and pastry breakfasts offered in so many other hotels. The only drawback was the location, which was west of the train station and a 15-20 minute walk from the main center of the city. We were hesitant to walk at night but were in a group and did just fine.

The stay was marred by the very poor breakfast service. Items were not refilled when they ran out (breakast cereals, fruit, scrambled eggs) and the coffee was bitter.

Our family of four flew from Dublin to Venice and then caught the last train to Bologna so we made it rather late (about 2230). The hotel is just far enough from the train station to be quiet. We just walked our wheelie luggage over and checked in. No problem. The rooms were very comfortable with AC and various amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is an easy walk to the town center with lots of shopping along the way. All and all, a good experience.

The hotel was a nice surprise. The lobby was well lit and classically furnished. The desk clerk was very helpful in offering a suggestion to a nearby restaurant that was extremely tasty. The room was spacious. However, the shower was quite small. The room was clean and very pleasant. Breakfast offered a wide selection of breads, fruit, cereals, meats and cheese. The best part was the cappuccino that was made to order. The surrounding area was okay. It doesn't seem like a good area to hang around in late at night, but we were okay walking back to the hotel at 3a from the train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Greatly recommend this hotel to anybody who plans to stop over in Bologna. Definitely will be back if I return. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

The rooms are spacious and modern. There is a pleasant 15 minute walk on arcaded streets to the city center. I expected a restaurant as the area is empty but there was none. Also the internet is expensive.

The hotel had overbooked and did not have a room available when we arrived. They booked us a room in another hotel in their chain and arranged for a taxi to that other hotel. But the other hotel was terrible, a few steps down in quality from the Europa. It took us another two hours to find a reasonable hotel, as it was our first time to Bologna. I advise double checking directly with the hotel that they are intending to honor a reservation. Or stay someone else that has a better system for keeping track of its reservations.

Good value modern 4 star in small family chain near main station. Hotel is in business district which is rather dull but shortish walk to via Righi restaurants and centre. Recently decorated, very clean, rooms a bit small.

The hotel was comfortable and convenient for the station. However, if I had stayed for any length of time, I would have been disappoited with the size of the room in relation to the price. Being next to the station, the hotel is a fair walk away from the city centre.

Very good hotel located not far from Bologna central station and 15 minutes walk to Piazza Maggiore. The only complaint is that the breakfast that could have been a little better especially for a 4 star hotel. The coffee was very bad. Otherwise a very good price/quality ratio.
