The hotel was very clean and the staff was eager to help when we needed. The breakfast was very good; the only thing that i did not like is that is outside the city and we needed a taxi to go anywhere and the bus stop was about 5 to 10 min. walk, other than this it was ok.

Rapporto qualità-prezzo buono, considerato il periodo (notte di capodanno), addetto alla reception simpatico e disponibile. ci ha concesso un late check-out e offerto la colazione con paste fresche e cappuccio a mezzogiorno passato! mossa molto apprezzata! i dintorni non sono sicuramente i migliori (è ricavato DENTRO un distributore di benzina!) ma non abbiamo sentito particolari rumori dall'esterno.

The description should mention that the location of the hotel is at a street with a lot of traffic and that a 24-h-gas station is on the same ground of the hotel. If the windows are not closed the rooms are quite noisy. The employees are very friendly and helpfull.

Facilities quite adequate and ok for this grade hotel Directions got from my Microsoft Autoroute program just O.K., but motel slightly hard to find as it is partly hidden behind a service station and needs better and bigger signage. Alternately precise directions could be posted on website or Emailed with reservation confirmation

How to reach Motel Marco Polo

By car
From the G. Marconi airport of Bologna: take via dell'Aeroporto, then turn right onto via del Triumvirato. Turn right onto the ring-road (tangenziale) and after 4 km turn right again in the direction of via Cristoforo Colombo that merges into via Marco Polo, where the hotel is located.

By train
The train station is in piazza delle Medaglie d'Oro. From there, turn right onto viale Pietro Pietramellara. Proceed in piazza 7 novembre 1944 then turn right in the direction of via Francesco Zanardi, after about 1 km turn right onto via Marco Polo, where the hotel is located.
