It was nice place and also the price. Very close to the Bologna centrale station about 5 min. Then we can use Internet at hotel front and Breakfast also fine. Thank you again for hospitality. Just problem is they wrote their website that the service of navetta (between Airport and Hotel as Euro 15) . Even if I ask then before the stay, they did not replied.

Exelente Hotel, en todos los aspectos, esta cerca de la estacion de Tren, cerca de la Via principal de Bologna, vale la pena mencionar que en Bologna solo hay un lugar para cambiar dinero y solo aceptan cheques de viajero...

The Millenhotel turned out to be a real find. I liked the idea of an hotel that was only six floors as I think larger hotels can lose the personal touch with clients. The building is close to the Faranese Gate and the gateway to all Bologna has to offer which is a lot. It is very close to the train station and the Aerport bus which costs five euros and takes twenty minutes to reach Marconi terminal. This was my first trip to Bologna and it certainly lived up to my expectations. The medieval centre is a joy to behold and the standard of cleanliness is very high. If you are a culture vulture you are catered for from the museums which are free to the Art Galleries and the Opera in Via Zamboni. I feel I saw the real Bologna, a vibrant, working city at ease with itself and not a tourist trap. There are many reasonable restaurants off the Via Independenza, one I especially liked was Il Portico opposite Restaurant Donatello near Via Piella. It was a small family run place with a modest yet excellent menu. Take the city tour, get on at Piazza Maggiore just 10 euros but worth every cent. Walk and walk and enjoy the little parks and havens where you can indulge in reading or the magical sound of Italian all around you. The hotel was very comfortable, excellent beds and wardrobe space and the bathroom generous with all complimentary tolietries. The breakfasts were excellent with personal service from a charming morning staff for whom nothing was a chore. I will definitely stay here again and plan to return this year. I cant wait, Viva Italia!!!

I would have liked a more rich breakfast. When i went for mine at around 9am most of the food available was finished. The quality of the food was in general good but some of the products were industrially made rather than freshly made. Overall is a very good value for money hotel especially if you need to have access to the train station and Bologna city center and local market in "La montagnola". Free Internet point and kind staff. They alsosuggested a good restaurant close by.

A professional attitude shown towards those staying. Very helpful service from employees. Good breakfast in pleasant dining room. The hotel is close to the main train station and within walking distance for those arriving by train. A twenty minute walk gets you into the centre of the old city. My room had a pleasant and spacious bathroom. Carpet in the bedroom though clean, could do with an upgrade.

Convenient location very close to train station and airport bus, and a 15 minute walk into the centre of Bologna. Very friendly and helpful reception staff, who provided restaurant recommendations and transport information. Excellent breakfast with wide choice of quality foods. Huge bathroom with good towels and toiletries.Very good value for money.Only negative was the worn and marked state of the carpet in the room and on some floors. However, would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is just a short walk from the railway station and the main street in Bologna. About 15 min walk to Piazza Maggiore along the main street with shops. Nearby restaurant Bolognese had good food. The room was clean and looked nice. Air condition worked well, but we had to call the reception to get lower or higher temperatures. But that was not a problem, it's 24 hours reception service. Breakfast was just excellent, the best we've had in Italy. Lots of different choices and very much fresh fruit. The staff in the reception was nice and helpful. The hotel is a very good choice for staying in Bologna.

My room was noisy in that the ventilation system of the whole hotel gave out continuous and very disturbing noise which could be heard in my room. The hotel staff fixed the problem only on the last night of my stay. But the hotel is very near the train station. My room is large and clean and has a fridge. The bathroom facilities are also good. In view of the facilites and services provided, it is excellent value for money. I couldn't complain much.

The hotel is close to the train station - just behind the hotels immediately across the street from the station and much less expensive usually. There's also less traffic on the street in front of the hotel. It's an easy walk to the center of the city where there are many good restaurants. A cab to the airport is around 16 euro in the early morning. Breakfast is very good. I've stayed here several times rather than leaving home at 3 am for an early flight and have never been disappointed.

This hotel was very comfortable and reasonable price. Room was new and clean with a card-key. There were three electric-sockets in a room and it helped me very much. The location is 5 minutes walk from the central station and also convenient for a short-trip to neighboring cities by train. Internet access by wifi is available at 10 EUR for total 60 minutes. I feel that it is expensive but gives fast web browsing environment.

It was my second stay at the Millennhotel and I chose it this time because the previous stay (four years ago) had been so good. The high standards of the hotel have been maintained. The location is excellent--near the station but in a quiet street. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is outstanding--the best breakfast I've had at any three-star hotel in Italy.

I enjoyed my stay for lots of reasons, the room is a good size, and clean, the bathroom excellent with bath sized towels !! However the staff are extremely impersonal, I was there for 5 days and did not have a single human interaction with any of them. If this not very important it is a great hotel to stay at, located about 5 mins from the train station. Do not eat at Restaurant Bolognese if you can help it.... there are other v.good ones out there - try il veliero about 5 mins walk away.

The room & the bed(single) were incredibly small. I'd never stayed in such a small room before. With this price the quality of this hotel is not good enough. This hotel provides excellent value for money. A block away from the railway station, but without any noise from it. Being across the remains of the old city wall it's within 5-10 minutes walk to the main attractions of the city. Spotlessly clean. As European hotel rooms go, quite spacious, with a large, well-equipped bathroom. A pleasant breakfast room with a good selection of breakfast foods. We found the staff friendly and knowledeable. All in all we recommend this hotel highly.

Our stay was near perfect, excellent quality of room and breakfast, way above what one ordinarily expects from a three star hotel. The only two minor shortcomings were the garage, which had direct access to the premises but was not operated by the hotel and cost 16 Euros a day and the fact that at first the bill amounted to 200 Euros more (for three nights!) than prearranged via email. It turned out that it was a mistake by either the receptionist on duty or the one who had confirmed my booking. In the end I only had to pay what the email said was due, but it was a minor shock right away and some hassle on our last morning to get things sorted out.

I know I booked a single room, but what a small room it was!!! When I asked Reception for another pillow (I only had one very flat pillow), I was told no! I had to use my towel to prop up my very flat pillow! The breakfast was quite good - although I had to find someone to ask for a coffee! The hotel was quite central and close to the station.

This is a super hotel that feels quite luxurious but without the cost. It is excellently located, very close to the train station and only a 20min stroll into the central square. The room was lovely and clean with a massive bathroom. The staff were a little unhelpful and we had to change rooms at the start because they gave us two beds pushed together but they were happy to change. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have experienced when travelling europe and a great way to start your day in this fab city.

Great price for such a nice hotel. The location is very convenient (a block from the train station), which was PERFECT for me and my heavy luggage. (They even have a lift bigger than any I've seen in Italy!) It's not the most 'happening' part of town, but the bus stop is close enough to take you anywhere you need to go. The staff was friendly, chatty and helpful. They even helped translate to my taxi driver when I left. My only complaint is the internet access--you can get wireless in your room but it's through a third party and quite pricy. The breakfast buffet was great--lots of variety, good cappucinos and a nice atmosphere. Overall, staying at the Millenhotel was a great way to start my year in Bologna. When I have friends come to town, this is the first and only place I'll recommend.

The Millenium Hotel seems to be a new hotel, situated in a not too busy street. The hotel is conveniently located very close to the railway station where I arrived from the airport. The surrounding area is - as nearly always around railway stations - not overwhelming but I did not encounter any annoyances. The city center and a park is in walking distance. The room was spacious the bathroom also and excellently clean. For breakfast there is buffet with a wide variety of choices. Hotel prices seem to be higher in Bologna than in other Italian cities but I was completely satisfied with what I got for my money.

Personnel d'accueil à l'écoute minimale, situation heureusement bien compensée par des locaux modernes et très agréables. A very convenient price for a good quality three-stars hotel, with surprisingly equipped rooms (internet connection for your laptop, satellite TV, comfortable bathroom with an efficient hairdryer, a large shower cubicle, soft and fluffy towels and a good set of toiletries). In every floor there is a large bowl full of ripe and fragrant apples for the guests, and the breakfast buffet is really first quality. This recently opened (2002) hotel is at walking distance from the central railway station, and it is a pity it is located in a wrongly frequented street, but this is the only thing that works against the surprisingly comfortable accommodation.

It was absolutely great! Very close to the main railway station, so very convenient for everyone coming to Bologna, even for the first time - as it is very easy to find. The room was fantastic, and the only criticism I could level at it was that the heating was too high, especially in the (wonderful) bathroom. The choice at breakfast was one of the best I've ever seen, in Italy and elsewhere. All in all, very highly recommended to all visitors to Bologna.

This nice, clean property is within a short, easy walk of the central train station (even toting luggage for family of three!). We used it this trip as an overnight prior to a very early AM flight from Bologna to Frankfurt. We took the Eurostar from Firenze mid-evening in leisurely fashion, walked to the Millenium, had a good night's sleep, and hotel arranged an early taxi for us the next morning to the airport. Because of the early departure, we unfortunately did not have the opportunity to try the breakfast (sigh), but maybe next trip. We will definitely stay here again. PS-- for those familiar with the city, this hotel is located at the former site of the OLD Hotel Europa. The new Europa is about 2 blocks away. Have not tried that one yet.

Overall, our stay at the Millennium was wonderful. We might have preferred to be closer to the historic center (the Millennium is a good 15-20 minute walk), but the hotel itself is bright, modern, and offers by far the best breakfast we had on our 10-day stay in Italy! Staff was knowledgable and courteous, and the hotel is only 1 1/2 blocks from the train station (a fact that concerned us at first, but ended up being a great convenience). Would recommend Millennium, as long as you're not looking for charm and quaintness -- this is definitely a modern hotel that seems to cater to the business traveler more than the tourist.

Expensive due to the realisation of Bologna's Construction Fair Saie Due,it's a 3*hotel. There were a few crumbles on the room floor and the employee forgot to empty the garbage basket of the bathroom, they didn't put new bottles of shampoo and bath gel even they were over! However the hotel was fully redecorated (not long ago,you can see)with great taste and design. It's just a pity that there's no bar and the surrounding area doesn't offer a lot.
