The hotel is very central, just ten minutes away on foot from Piazza Maggiore and another ten to the railway station. The staff at the reception is very competent, helpful and friendly. The Peruvian girl (with a Russian name!)working at the reception was particularly kind and dedicated. I would definetely go back to this hotel. Room 12 on the first floor (second floor for Americans!) is a very spacious triple, suitable for a family. They gave it to the two of us. Very polite!

The rooms are small but clean. The bathrooms are newly redone and very good. The breakfast is adequate. WiFi works well and is reasonably priced, but is available only in continuous time segments.

Great location and managed to find a car park right out the front. Only negative comment is that my credit card was charged by the hotel with the amount of the room and then credited again, (I paid cash for our stay) meaning I lost out on the exchange rate. This is the first time a Venere.com hotel has charged my credit card before I arrived. Otherwise a great economical hotel in a good location.

Avevo trovato un'offerta per 68 euro qui su Venere, per quella cifra l'albergo vale certamente la pena, è un 3 stelle modesto ma onesto, la posizione è ottima (in centro con autobus a pochi metri), la mia stanza essendo al quinto piano e sul retro era anche silenziosa.

From the Bologna ring road, take the exit n.5 Quartiere Lame. Proceed in the direction of centro città-Palazzo dello Sport. After 300 metres you will find the hotel.

By train
From the Bologna Centrale railway station, take the bus n.36 and get off at the Palazzo dello Sport stop.

By airplane
The Bologna G.Marconi airport is 5 km away from the hotel, 20 minutes by taxi.
