Grand Hotel Majestic già Baglioni - Bologna

Clean ironed linen sheets, made up the bed and changed the towels when i went out to dinner and left chocolats on the bed. a big corner roon with windows on 2 sides and a huge bath. Not inexpensive but worth the price.

My husband and I visited Bologna for the first time this summer and we loved the hotel. Location couldn't be better. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and spacious. It is a grand, old, elegant hotel. Very quiet even though we faced the main street. We would definitely recommend it to anyone. There were families with children, business people and a group while we were there. Good business centre and beautiful breakfast room with wonderful staff. First rate hotel!

My companion and I stayed at the Grand Baglioni in Bologna for two nights, and it was an absolutely terrific choice, the only five-star luxury hotel in the city, and more than well-worth 240 euros per night. The front-desk reps were courteous and more than helpful in dinner reservations, private tours, and anything else we asked for. I wouldn't hesitate to stay with this hotel again. In addition, the location couldn't be any better: two blocks from the main square, Piazza Maggiore.

Sensational hotel in a very, very fine city. Located in an area seeming to have some transition...but exceptional access to the central city. Highly recommend this property.

Wonderful service and room. Definitely first class

We received an upgrade to a double deluxe for free (I mentioned it was our anniversary). We were personally escorted to our room which had a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a heaping tray of fresh fruit, and lovely decor. Some of the decor is showing age, but is clean and well kept up. The bathroom and tub especially are quite large. The service was fantastic, the concierge helped with everything we asked for, and overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Unfortunatly we visted Bologna during one of their conference and the Baglioni was the only place with a room available at 400 Euros a night. The room was tiny and faded, the carpets in the hallways were threadbare in spots and they seemed woefully understaffed even though they knew they had a full hotel. I would avoid this hotel in the future.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel.The service was first class; the staff was friendly and helpful, from the doorman to the bellboy to the front desk. The room was very luxurious, and the maids were excellent. Based upon my experience , I found the Baglioni a top notch 5 star hotel and highly recommend it . The Baglioni is a wonderful hotel. I had actually reserved the wrong dates, and showed up a day early. They turned cartwheels to accomodate me. Plus, the hotel is advertised as luxury, and it definitly is that. Plus it is in the heart of Bologna, making travel and shopping very very easy. Five stars.
