Hotel Internazionale - Bologna

Hotel was lovely, well situated for Bologna, very clean and the breakfast was terrific.

The location is excellent. If you arrive by train, you need about 5 minutes walk to reach the hotel. The same for the city historical center, in 10 minutes about you are in Piazza Maggiore. Very clean room and a very rich first breakfast at buffet. People are very nice.

Very well and strategically located, close to rail station and down town and touristic places. Rooms well equiped, cleaned and confortable. We recomend this hotel for a short visit to Bologna. Good and abundant buffet breakfast included. Reasonable price.

We stayed for four days. Both the room and bath were generously sized and very clean. The room was very well appointed, with a large king size bed (good mattress), sofa, large flat screen TV, lots of closets and a lovely marble bath. Good lighting throughout. There was a quantity of good towels and many bath soaps, creams, etc. The room was very quiet. Excellent air conditioning, easily adjusted. The breakfast selection was extensive: fruit, cereals, breads, sweet cakes, cheese, meats, juices, lots of fresh coffee. The location was very convenient to the train station - not even a 10 minute walk. The hotel is on a main street leading directly to the main square, on which there are a couple of bus routes. The walk to the main square was about 20-25 minutes along the covered sidewalks. There are a number of good, average restaurants in the area - the hotel staff knows many of them and will make reservations for guests. Behind the hotel is Stefino's a great gelato and granita store, not to be missed among the several other good gelaterias in Bologna. The staff was generally pleasant, spoke decent English. I would definitely stay here again.

A perfect location and a very good hotel.

The hotel is in a very good place near the centre of Bologna and also at 5 minuytes walking from the train station. Rooms are big, clean and quiet, breakfast is OK and employees are very kind. The relation quality vs price is very good.

Everything was as we would hope for and expect from a hotel of this quality. Our room was both exceptionally quiet and spacious. It was a very agreeable room to return to and relax in during the day. The hotel is in the heart of the city, and everything we wished to see was within easy walking distance.

This was the first time we stayed at Hotel Internazionale and found it to be everything we needed. The breakfasts were excellent and the cleanliness of the rooms was very good. Would certainly use this hotel again.

A surprisingly good and classy hotel for a great price.and the full buffet breakfast was more than a nice surprise.....even if the checkin staff didnt care to mention it upon checking in...i had to ask later where it was served.it would also have been nice if they mentioned about the room key card also is necessary to turn on the lights in the room...i felt like an idiot spending 10-15mins to figure it out in the dark!!!the location is great.the room was superb.the bathroom was all marble!

Very good, although we arrived on the eve of Ascension Thursday which doubled the price of staying everywhere in Bologna!

Although the room quality of the property was very good and the location was excellent, the management refused to turn on the air conditioning before 15 aprile which was a few days after our last day at the hotel. The weather was very hot and the noise from the street was very great. If the windows had to remain open because of heat, the noise was intolerable. The hotel personnel moved us to a different room but heat and noise were a problem there as well. They should be more accomodating on the provision of air conditioning or should disclose that air conditioning would not be provided. I would not have stayed there had I known there was no air conditioning.

Was a good choice

This is a very good hotel and the staff were very helpful and capable people. This was our first visit to Bologna. The guests we met were on holidays and very friendly.

We stayed 4 nights,were given a very spacious room...beautifully appointed.the hotel is very nicely decorated,staff at reception,one in particular,very helpful although the same could not be said for the breakfast staff.if you are getting towards the end of breakfast they would not replace anything and appeared resentful of having to serve you.other than that the hotel is conviently located..many resturuants around that are reasonably priced.

Conveniently located and reasonably priced small hotel. Our room was small but well equipped. The staff was nice and very helpful.

Beautiful room - large bathroom with large tub/shower was all carrera marble - lovely! Room was very quiet which was great since we were jet-lagged. Staff was very friendly and helpful with directions to sites and to good restaurants. Hotel is very centrally located making it an easy walk to many sites. Nice breakfast. Only complaint (if you can call it that) is the high cost of internet service which could be slow, but it was the exact same cost for internet service in all of the hotels we stayed in that charged for internet service.

Das Hotel bietet sich insbesondere für Gäste an die Mitten im Zentrum wohnen wollen. Einzig negativer Punkt ist die Anreise mit dem PKW und die Park Möglichkeiten. Sehr empfehlenswert.

This is a very comfortable hotel, well located. the staff are helpful and friendly, and the breakfast is good. the room was spacious, as was the bathroom. but, for two people staying for a week,the room was a bit low in drawer space. they were also a little mean with towels -- each person should get two large towels, one for wrapping around the body after a shower or bath and one for drying the hair.

Overall the hotel was quite lovely. Room and bath were very large and well appointed. I must say that the breakfast was wonderful and would have liked to stay lonmger.

The hotel is about 1/2 way between the train station and the main Piazza. It was the perfect location for two tired travelers. We were able to check in upon arrival at about noon and rest after a long trip from the US. The room was clean and quiet and the front desk staff was very helpful. The breakfast buffet had everything you need and the service was efficient. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Bologna for work or pleasure.

The hotel was in an excellant location and was used by both business and leisure travelers. The staff was helpful, however the ability to converse in English was some what limited. Internet service needs to be clarified as it was fairly expensive to use in the hotel. Resturants were within walking distance of the hotel and parking under the hotel was a big plus. The room was excellant with the only exception that the bed was to firm.

After your hotels in Brescia (Fernocoli Palace) and your hotel in Florence (Hotel d'Ville, the Internationale did not live up to the four star rating you gave it.

I booked a single room for a one-night stay in March (reduced rate), and was very pleased that they gave me a very large double room, in the back of the building, with no noise from V. Independenza on which the hotel is located. The room was very quiet and tastefully decorated, as was the bathroom. The bathroom had a tub with (stand up) shower, which was nice after a long day of walking around. Breakfast was taken on the run as I had a train to catch, but it was a lovely room with a complete selection of breakfast foods.

A very good class of hotel in Bologna. We would definitely stay there again when next in Bologna.

Very nice hotel, close to the centre

The accommodations were outstanding, all personnel extremely helpful, and the location absolutely perfect. I will be making trips to Bologna every three months and the Hotel Internazionale will continue to be my hotel of choice during my stays in Bologna.

Wonderful place - especially for the price I got. Great location close to the station but also close to Piazza Maggiore. Only quirk is that the windows didn't seal well, so it was somewhat noisy. But that wasn't a major issue.

New, clean hotel. not very welcoming. front desk personnel was not friendly. Breakfast was supposed to be included in our rate but was extra. location close to train and in the middle of the main road in the city. plenty of shopping and restaurants.

L'albergo è bello e corrispondente alla descrizione. la nota negativa è il personale alla reception: sembrano piuttosto annoiati dal lavoro che fanno. inoltre è la prima volta da quando prenoto gli alberghi tramite venere.com che mi succede di pagare un prezzo diverso da quello indicato sul sito. mi sono stati aggiunti 4 euro alla tariffa, che in se per sè in effetti non è una gran cifra, ma l'ho trovato poco professionale e vagamente truffaldino

The quality of the service was as expected for a 4 stars hotel. We were considered like a normal customer and not a customer with discount.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Internazionale. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Rooms were spotless, spacious, tastefully decorated and quiet. Fantastic location - easy to walk to main sites in city centre. Excellent value for money - better facilites and more luxurious than many four stars we have stayed at in Italy. We will defintely be staying here again on future visits
