Excellent price (only 32€!). The hotel is in a very isolated area, it is strongly suggested to have a car. Chaotic and disappointing breakfast; few tables for the guests in the hotel (be prepared to fight to find a table) and very cheap quality of food and beverage.

the hotel is very close to the street and the railroad, so during the night you can easely hear the trafic sounds. It's not quite at all... but if you want to spend a few money (but not during fairs period) and have a nice service you can choose it. the rooms are not soundproofed....

Not the first time here. However, this time round the shower was not properly cleaned. Also our room was next to the elevator and so there were a few vibrations whenever it was used. Otherwise, excellent value for money.

General speaking, the hotel is very good, the room I had was clean and comfortable; the only problem I had is that it faced the street which is very noisy at any time. Considering the low price paid for a double-single use I can consider myself satisfied.

We stayed three nights at this hotel. The room was very spacious and modern, as the hotel is quite new. First night we stayed in the upper floor, and since it was so hot outside, the air conditioner could not cool the room enough. The staff was kind to change our room the next morning, and for our surprise, we got even better and bigger room from the second floor, which was a lot cooler. Excellent relationship between price and quality, and breakfast was also included in the price. Although the hotel is about 4 km from the Bologna city centre, the bus connections are very good and cheap. We would definitely go back anytime, and would recommend this to anyone travelling to Bologna.

Hotel Fiera was not easy to find as we arrived at night. Bologna is a big city. Best to have a good GPS or map and not just rely on direction from Google Maps. :o) Hotel was clean and the restaurant downstairs was not bad. The staff speak poor English even at the reception, and the receptionist didn't seem willing to do more than his job description says (we needed help with decyphering some medicine we received for our 6 months old baby who had a fever - instruction were in Italian only). Bologna was just a stopover for the night after visiting San Gimignano (very recommended) and before heading off to France in the morning, so I can't say much about the city itself except that it's much bigger than we expected it to be. The price is good for what you get but the location seemed a bit away from everything. But anyway we were told you cannot drive into the city and can only go by taxi, so maybe if you take the taxi into consideration (I think they said it would be about 15EUR) then maybe it's an ok location, although you need to consider the extra costs involved. If you have kids or prefer to have better access, I would recommend staying nearer to the center, pending your budget of course.

A great deal for the price! The rooms are very clean and are more of a 4* standard - although don't expect the same from the breakfast and the view from the window. The reception staff are helpful and efficient. The hotel is at the very outskirts of Bologna, but if you're arriving by car, this may actually be an advantage, as there's no problem with the free parking. To get to the city centre by car, drive to Piazza dell'Otto Augosto, where there's a huge underground car park for €1.60/hour and then walk further south. A better option, however, may be taking a 3-min walk along the unassuming Via Giovanni Casoni to the first junction with Via Ferrarese, from where the frequent bus 25 takes you straight into the old city.

Camere pulite ma piccole. Arredamento camera buono.

Good quality for money if there is not a fair going on. They should put a good description of how to get there by public transport on their web site though. It is much more easy than it seems. From the central station, take a number 25 bus in the direction of Dozza (coming from the station, you have to cross the main road) and alight at the Casoni stop. Follow the road sign (to the right) and it is only a 5 minutes walk. The bus also runs to the city centre until after midnight. The surroundings of the hotel are not very inspiring, but seem to be alright.

We stayed in a double standard room. Reception and services were really excellent. Position of hotel to city: with car or public transport: minutes. Really good. Surrounding is something else. All hotels are positioned like Fiera here, and you just forget it, but is not worse then anywere else. Hookers on the corner, Burgerking on 100 meter, busy in the morning, but the hotel has really green forsidegarden and you easily acces to anywhere. Top !!

Absolutely simple hotel to drive to/from the airport and access to autostrada, that is why we chose it. However we found it very difficult to get the bus into and out of the city center. Luckily we had help from friends that live in the area otherwise we would have spent a great deal of time riding the wrong buses and missing our stops. If you stay here because of the driving convenience, do more research on bus numbers, stops than we did.

Great hotel for the price. Really conveniently located and easy to find, just off the ring road - also close to the airport. We had two rooms - one with a very large double, and the other with three singles. Rooms are pretty large, well equiped and clean, and buffet breakfast included in price. Easy to drive to centre of Bologna from hotel, and there's also a good pizzeria within walking distance. - Couldn't really ask for much better at the price.

the price of this hotel varies greatly depending on whether there is an exhibition at the Fiera. I think we stayed there for only 40 Euros a night, which was a bargain. If you drive, it was a short drive into the Centro. There is an excellent restaurant/Pizzeria just round the corner. Italian food at its finest. Nice stay.

A great hotel if you have a car, the trip into town was only 10 minutes and there are a few parking lots on the outskirts of the limited traffic zone. Our airconditioning worked just fine and once the shutter was closed, the train noise was significantly reduced. We thought the breakfast selection was great and especially the standard of coffee on offer.

Hotel at very cheap price but in crappy district. Internet was a complete rip-off, especially compared to other Italian hotels we stayed at on this trip. Nice room, quiet and comfortable for a honest price. Hotel's position in very good to get to the Fiera, quite far from the center but well-linked by buses. Only the breakfast was a little poor, just one flavour of jam, about juices only a red one, and not so good, I think if the breakfast was a little better, Hotel Fiera would be perfect! All in all, a good place to stay. Nice trip

The hotel is quite far from city center. Bus stop to city center is walking distance but on the far side. The room is clean, new & bed is comfortable albeit small. The receptionist is somewhat helpful, but not the nicest compared to all other hotels I stayed in Italy. Next time I would probably prefer to stay in a property closer to city center. But the hotel is a very good value hotel.

We have just returned from the Hotel Fiera in Bologna… I have never written a review before but felt this hotel really deserved a mention. Hotel was spotlessly clean, staff very friendly, very efficient. It's very easy to find it, because is situated 500 meter from the tangential exit Nr. 7 - and it's even written Via Stalingrado, that helps a lot! For those with cars - excellent! We left our car on the hotel parking and took 20 minute walk in one direction which took us to the old town of Bologna. Hotel room? Very clean and spacious. Breakfast? Typical Italian - with several types of cakes. To conclude: A very nice hotel that looked good on the reviews and turn out even better.

This was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our stay in Italy. The room was immaculate, modern, with all the ammenities needed, for a very reasonable price. It was almost like a boutique hotel room, the only drawback was that it was very near the convention center and far from the city center. There is one bus line that takes you straight to it from the train station, once you get off it you have to walk one long block to get to the hotel. This hotel block is somewhat empty and dark at night, so it may not be a good choice for a single female traveler, but if there is more than one person, I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff was fully bilingual and extremely helpful, we had to leave early the next day so we didn't get a chance to sample the breakfast buffet, but I think if it was in line with all the other services it would have been great too. I would highly recommend this property if you don't mind being outside the historic city center.

I stayed in Fiera in June 2007 with my girlfriend during our Italy roundtrip. Fiera is very conveniently located near the Bologna tangenziale freeway, however, in order to get to the center it is necessary to use the car or bus. The hotel is very clean and I liked the modern look of the rooms very much. Also the breakfast was superb. For the price - we paid only 45 EUR per night with Venere reservation it provided excellent value. Now the downside - the surroundings are scary. From our window we could see some whores looking for the customers near the freeway, and the in the street that leads to the bus station there are some Arab or Gypsy bars with creepy people crawling around. Therefore, it is the best to party on one of the balconies as we did (if you are lucky enough to get one of the rooms with a balcony) or go one of those wonderful restaurants in the Bologna center by car or taxi.

My son and I stayed in a twin bed room and it was very small, no room for walking around. Clean, yes, bathroom clean, but my complaint would be the utter lack of reality for the menu downstairs. We ordered two plates of pasta pomodoro and they attempted to charge us 26 euro. This is outer space. Even a poor homeless barbone can get spaghetti with tomatoe sauce for a few cents. There were no other choices nearby for eating and no good walking to anything. However, on the flip side, and amazing, the breakfast selection was very fine and oppulent. Cannot recommend this property, although clean.

For what you get, this place is an absolute bargain!!!!! 4 star hotel, excellent service, great breakfast, spotless rooms, very spacious and luxurious bathroom... a top find!!!! It is a bit far from the centre of Bologna, so cab it there from the train station (6 Euros). Once there, get the hotel to tell you where to catch the bus from to get back and forth from the centre. Once explained to you, it is very easy and only takes about 10 minutes. Would stay agin for sure!!!

It is a good hotel, but really far for the city centre. It is necessary to take the bus 25 (not indicated in the web hotel) to arrive, and the bus stop is far 500 ms from the hotel. Nevertheless, it is a cheap and confortable hotel in the surroundings of Bologna

Our stay at Fiera was excellent. We had a nice, big room with a terrace facing the street. The bathroom was big and clean, as was the rest of the room. If there is a trade fair going on, though, prices will go up. We paid 45 euro for a room that is 250 during fairs. But if you can stay here when there isn't something going on, you really can't beat the quality for the value. It is a little bit outside the city center, though. Very nice, great breakfast, too!

we stayed in a spacious comfortable, modernly furnished room. the hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. the breakfast's were lovely with a wide variety of choice and the overall stay was great.the price we paid was extremy good as we went out of fair time, however if you are planing on visiting bologna made sure you go when there are no trade fairs on as the hotel avalilablity goes down and the hotel prices go dramatically up.

Ottimo albergo facilmente raggiungibile in auto.

it's 3km from the center that its possible to do walking. Only - are that the hotel is situated in a area with light dressed girls hanging on the streets

Excellent rapport qualité-prix.

The hotel is situated at the Bologna Fiera area, about 15 minutes by bus from the historical center. The hotel is on a remodelling process. The room assigned ( Nbr.305 ) was already remodelled, and it looked great. Good breakfast, in spite no hot foods availability.

We were 10 people in a small group flying late into Bologna. Hotel Fiera was perfect for us for a one night stay. The price, rooms and the breakfast was good and the staff wery helpful. The onliy thing I can say bad about the hotel is that one end of it is wery close to the railroad. We were in 5 rooms and 2 rooms were on that side of the building.
