Excellent location. Very friendly staff, good breakfast and overall a very pleasant stay. We would stay here again. The only thing to improve would be the provision of a safe in the room.

This hotel is blessed with a great location. Wonderful in all respects except that it has no elevator. If you are on the fourth floor with a large suitcase, you have to take it up five flights of stairs!

I was very impressed with Hotel Accademia. The welcome was very friendly, and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. The location was ideal was a 10 minute walk in to the town centre. There were some students hanging around near the hotel on the saturday night, but their behaviour was perfectly fine, and, as a single traveller, I felt in no way intimidated at all. I would highly recommend the Hotel Accademia, and will not hesitate to book back in there when I return to delightful Bologna.

Friendly helpful staff and very spacious rooms. No elevator, so be prepared to carry luggage. Great restaurants just a few blocks away and easy access to the city center.

The students are really very noisy and "enduring" - even during the winter moths. Despite this I really had a pleasant stay and the staff has been very friendly.

Very well located hotel, right in the student district, in the heart of the historical center and in a walking distance from main atractions. Nice and friendly staff and aceptable breakfast. There is no elevator, wich can be hard if you have heavy lugage but, in my case, a friendly lady took my bag up and I didn't had to carry it. I've appreciated that.

Very welcoming staff. Loud environment (very close to university with 100.000 students, lots of noise until late on Saturday night). Wireless internet did not work in our room, but was OK in lobby.

Very good overall stay.Renovated, very clean. Staff competent and welcoming. I had reserved a single for one night: the room was nice, maybe a bit small, but would have been ok for one night - the staff offered me anyway an upgrade to a superior room for a very little fee, and the second room was really perfect. Simple but nice breakfast. Only (minor) flaw: the towels for the shower and bathroom use were of the thin and sad variety.... Overall I strongly recommend it, with a very good price / quality ratio.

This hotel is in the university area surrounded by lots of great places restaurants and bars that all offer great meal deals. Unfortunately, I stayed there on Halloween and it was like a mardi gras parade until well after 2 am. I had to use ear plugs and even still the noise from the street was unbelievable. Everything else was quality. Comfy bed, clean bathroom, free wi-fi throughout, and espresso at breakfast -- as much as you want!

I had a single room, which was very little but clean. After taking a shower, all the bathroom floor was wet. The hotel was situated in a nice area with walking distance to everywhere and with many restaurants nearby. There was internet available without any extra cost.

Parking was very hard to get to. Our first room stank of cigarette and we had to ask for another one.

Our room was on the street and was very noisy, although we did sleep with out window opened, the first night. Once we closed the window it wasn't too bad.Problem is we don't like to sleep with air/con on. The breakfast was OK, a little disappointing after our hotel in Modena for the same price!! Overall we would stay again but ask for a room off the street. We had to park our car and ask directions as the signage wasn't that good but once there to be able to park off hte street was great.

Colazione abbondante inclusa.A due passi dal centro città.

I liked the Accademia so well that I decided to stay en extra day. Once I learned where I was and how to get around, then it was fairly easy to go everywhere. I took a taxi from the train station because the location looked complicated, and it was a good idea. The girls at the desk were very helpful in many ways. I forgot something in the room and contacted immediately so I would know about it. I had a small room with everything I needed. It was a little noisy because the hotel is in the university area, but with the window closed I had no problem. The bathroom was big enough. Breakfast was standard but more than enough. I really enjoyed the hotel and their service. The only thing is that they didn't wake me up the day I requested a wake up call. I woke up on time to get ready and take my train. I wish they had Skype.
