I have stayed in Bologna for 2 days and I have booked a double room with the offer of saving the 15% on the price. The room was clean and confortable, but on the walls there were stains. In the bathroom there was only soap for hand and body, no cupshower or other stuff that generally you find in a 3 or 4 stars hotel. But I have to say that the breakfast was good. I have been in other 4 stars hotels and I think that in this case 4 stars are too much. Maybe the others rooms are better than that where I have been, or maybe if I had paid the whole price the service would have been different.

We had booked a family room with four single beds. As this type of room was unavailable we were upgraded to a wonderful suite with two bathrooms. The bedding was of excellent quality - perfect mattresses. We were on the 7th floor with a huge balcony and had a good view over the surrounding area. No noise problems at all (and that is something of particular importance to me). The public area around reception was very tastefully decorated: light, modern and airy. Only slight downpoint was the breakfast which was a bit too "prepacked" for my liking. Breakfast service a bit impersonal. But nevertheless a very pleasant hotel, a little out of the city centre, but only 5-10 mins or so by taxi. Our return fare in the evening cost only €3,50! We would certainly stay at the Alloro again.

Consigliato a coppie giovani

The staff at breakfast seamed to be to little (only one person visible) for the amount of guests. He did not have time to replenish f.ex. the bacon during the rush hour and he for sure did his best.

Albergo bello, funzionale e tranquillo.

Our first visit to Bologna. Hotel located a little too far from central city area and also walking back to hotel at night didn't feel very safe. We did request a room for 2 adults and 2 children and ended up with 4 single beds. There was also no internet service when we arrived which we were relying on to book our next lot of accommodation. Breakfast was good.

We stayed there for one night only, the hotel is quite fancy and the room are big with comfortable beds, the employees are nice and the checkout it's quite late (which is great if you are going there for clubbing and so),the hotel is like 5 minutes from the highway and still very quiet at night. Lotza signs to get there around. Excellent place to stay, recommended!

Hotel was a little to far from the old town for our liking but public transport was convenient and cheap. There was not many good restuarnts local to the hotel. The room was more spacious than the photo on web sight suggested. The staff were very helpful. Providing you are happy to travel this was a good hotel.

The map given on internet is really false. It seems to be near to the main station, which was not the case. Please add how to reach the hostel by bus (n°25) from the main station.Thank you! (I walked with this map during two hours until I found the hostel! It's true!)

Nice hotel but far away from the city center (you can take a public bus to go there). The zone where it's located doesn't seem a top one. Nevertheless, I would recommed it for a one night stay in Bologna.

Location of the hotel is very practical, as it is situated only 10 minutes from BOLOGNA centre and 20 minutes from the airport Marconi by car.The big backyard parking place, the location of the hotel, price and standard makes this hotel a good option for me, and I recommend it

Nice hotel in a quiet area. Only some aircraft noise sometimes, military area in the neighbourhood. Nice room, nice bathroom, good aircondition, good breakfast. Don´t visit Bologna in august. We searched for one hour for an open restaurant. All were closed because of holiday even the restaurants recommended by the receptionist. Half an hour to walk to the city. There is a bus stop 100m from hotel, too.

A pleasant enough stay but the hotel doesn't generally feel that welcoming. It would seem to have been recently refurbished so the room and the public areas had a 'clinical' feel about them. The staff are friendly. The hotel is in a northern suburb of Bologna. I followed the website directions to get there and it couldn't have been easier. The number 25 bus leaves from opposite the railway station and the hotel is very close to the Casaralta bus stop.

The Public Areas of the hotel have just been uprgraded, and there is still work going on in the hotel. I think the map should give a more accurate idea of the distance from the Centre of Bologna, and the traffic noise at night can be troublesome (double glazing would help). Overall though a pleasant hotel, refurbished in a very modern style, with helpful and competent staff.

people were very nice, very welcoming. the building was being rebuilt during our stay so i guess it wasn't at its best. the hotel is located in a suburb of bologna. we had a car so it wasn't a problem for us. it's really close from the airport (which makes a lot of noise) but it seems that they stop planes at night because it was so loud during the afternoon that i think we'd have been woken up if they were flying during the night. the room was very clean, breakfast in bedroom and free parking. we enjoyed our stay.
