Tourhotel - La Chaussée-Saint-Victor, Blois

Good location to explore the loire region. Very quite clean and relaxing environment.

Although there were only few grill restaurants around the hotel, it is OK with people who visit there by car. Although the Family room was not big for 2 adults + 2 children, the room rate was so cheap anyway. The only one fatal problem concerned hot-water-supply system. Since no more hot-water for shower and bath were supplied after my kinds and wife, I had to wait until next morning.

Hotel sencillo, el desayuno escaso. Está alejado del centro, aunque si se dispone de coche no es problema.

Very good price for a hotel in Blois. Problem is that it was not in Blois, but several km out of the city. Rooms very poor, without light, toilet without comments, really noisy. People were very kind, but resources extremely limited.

Small but comfortable. Calm surroundings. Nice breakfast hall. Rooms somewhat small but otherwise comfortable and clean. Tip to those coming by car: On A10 highway from Paris to Tour there is just one exit to Blois if you miss it you have to drive 30 km more and drive back again another 30 km.

Ottimo servizio e personale gentilissimo.

Don't expect too much for this rate, but it is a good choice for just sleep and rest.

In ENGLISH : Very clean hotel. We have to spend an excellent moment. Moreover managers are very sympathetic nerves and of very good councils. We strongly recommend it, especially that its site is impeccable to visit the area. We adored and will go back we there!!! En FRANCAIS : Hotel très propre. Nous avons passer un excellent moment. De plus les gérants sont très sympathiques et de très bons conseils. Nous le recommandons fortement, surtout que son emplacement est impeccable pour visiter la région. Nous avons adorés et nous y retournerons!!!

I just needed a good value hotel which was easy to find, for a one night stay prior to starting a new job in Blois. This hotel met all of my expectations, and provided friendly and efficient service. The room was clean and quiet. The room was fairly small, but perfectly satisfactory. I would recommend it for a convenient and good value stop over.

Reception times on Sundays may create a little problem. It can be easily solved if you plan your arrival ahead of time. Reception was excellent. Although the hotel is not very close to the city centre, there is a good transportation system near it and good restaurants, supermarket and other facilities within a walking distance.

E' molto strategico per la visita ai Castelli della Loira, è fuori dal centro abitato di Blois, non costa molto. E' soddisfacente, non hanno la macchinetta per il caffè espresso :-)!!!

TourHotel, located near the beatifull town of Blois (France,)was a nice and cheap (if compared with other nearby hotels) option to explore castles in the Loire river area.

No hot water at 10 pm even in the morning very small bathroom also dirty (joints de carrelage noirs)

Very clean room, the owners were extremely helpful and friendly. On-line map was not helpful.

The general quality of the hotel is poor, althoug enough if you stay only one or two nigths. Breakfast is very expensive and not very complete. It is not far away from the center of Blois (by car).

Accomodation and service were as expected and very reasonably priced. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The directions and map showing the location are very inadequate, especially if not approaching from the North via the A10 Autoroute. We were coming from the South and I spent more than an hour researching internet map sites before I could pin down the exactlocation before travelling. This should not have been necessary, but proved to have been time very well spent. See comment by another guest with a similar problem!

The room was exactly as what I expected. It was 4 walls and a roof over my head, which was exactly what I asked for. The rooms are not spacious palaces, but I didn't ask for that. The bed was a little small for my wife and myself, but that just allowed us to be cozy. The only problem I had with the hotel wasn't really the hotel's fault at all. Apparently in the town, there are "2" 23 Rte 152 National in the small town of Blois and this led to some confusion for us as we had no idea and showed up at this poor unsuspecting woman's house. Just keep in mind if staying here it is on the EAST side of town!!!
