Hotel Le Savoie - Blois

Hôtel propre et sympathique. Accueil charmant, chambre triple confortable, par contre les parois sont en papier, beaucoup de bruits surtout la nuit du samedi au dimanche dans les escaliers...

Very warm and nice people. Very friendly "hotel dog", Shippy. Excellent location. Clean, functional rooms. Exactly as described at price stated.

This was a very friendly small hotel and the owner/manager was always very helpful. The location is very good - right in the centre of Blois near the station. The only complaint I have is that the shower could not be set on a temperature. It kept changing from scalding to cold and back again. We gave up in the end. A room with a bath may be a better bet.

Nice hotel room but staff not very friendly. Location is handy being close to the train station and not far into the centre of town. Also close to a supermarket.

This hotel was probably one of the best in our entire 22-stay in Europe. Everything was so perfect, starting with the owners! They do not speak perfect English, but seems as if it was not necessary as they did all efforts to make us feel home. Breakfast was really nice, furthermore you see they pay attention to every detail: classic music, lights, food .. Don´t forget to put your flag on map right at the entrance, provind that you were there! Will come back shortly!

Very small room with leaky toilet.Hotel area a bit run down,not many restraunts close by.Found free parking across the road from hotel.walk up stairs,no lift.

We, my husband, my 15 year old daughter and I, only stayed one night and we arrived quite late. It was difficult to find the hotel and I found the surroundings a bit out of the way of down town and too close to the train station so the area seemed a bit sketchy. We had to walk for 20 mins or more to get to the recommended restaurant, Au Coin du Table, which was really excellent.

Staff spoke limited English. Couldn't communicate about how to use the telephone in the room for Internet access.

It's very close to the train station. The hotel owners are very friendly and helpful. It's very convenient to walk from the hotel to the Blois Chateau. The room is clean and spacious. Highly recommended!

Due to price / quality you really can not complain. It would be helpful if the will put on good pillows and check the providing of warm water!

Only one night here so it did not matter that the accommodation was poor. Sorry this hotel is not up to scratch. Pity because Bloir is just beautiful.

Basic, but very clean and good sized room. Very close to the station, but a 10 minute walk from the main part of town.Friendly and helpful service despite my limited French.

This is our second summer at Le Savoie. Once again the management and staff were warm and welcoming. They took the initiative to reserve a newly remodeled room for us, and held our luggage while we traveled to other cities. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing a good stay with good people at a good price.

This place is fine but 2-star just about pulls it up. Our room was tiny, but at the same time clean and adequate for our needs. The staff were very friendly and the location ideal for the train station.

A clean, quiet, comfortable hotel close to the centre of Blois. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Parking is difficult in the area around the hotel.

Reasonable price and a relatively nice room. Overall, we were satisfied. But, very difficult to find it out. If you aer driving, just head for the station. The hotel is very close to the station. The map provided was not correct at all.

The staff was extremely courteous and accomodating. They went above and beyond in offering service to us.

Stayed in the hotel for the Tour De France. The people were friendly, and even though i couldnt speak french, they tried to speak english for me, which is very nice. The room was only 53 euros which is pretty cheap between 3 people. Train station was pretty close which is nice, but a bit noisy at night time if you leave the windows open.

The location, adjacent to the rail statioon, was ideal for our daily trips. It is ,however, a little distant from the cenyer of activity. The inn keeper was extremely helpful in responding to any requests and un recommending restaurants.
