Savoy Hotel - Blackpool

We stayed in a double room which was actually two twin beds pushed together, therefore duvet not wide enough! Couldn't fault the breakfast and would definitely stay there again.

I had stayed at this hotel before so I knew the location and size. The room we were given this time was huge for two of us, it must have been a family room, the staff were all friendly and the breakfasts were eat all you want buffets where you were under no pressure to leave, we did go in February when the hotel was quiet which could have been the reason everything was so relaxed. The only fault I could find was the cleaners they came in to the room every day but only made the beds they did not do hoovering, sweeping etc, I would not hesitate to stay at The Savoy again though.

The reason you score so low is that when i arrived there was no booking for me, despite a confirmation e-mail, still no room. It took about an hour to sort the mess, and then we get a room with dirty towels, unflushed toilet, dirty glasses and no ashtray. I will not use this service again.

We booked two rooms, a double and a single for our daughter. The single room was larger in size than the double. Both rooms had large diameter hot water pipes running through them which meant that the rooms could not be cooled down even with the window wide open. Nobody would pay for a room which could not be heated so nobody should pay for a room that could not be cooled. I have written to the hotel to complain, but have received no reply. This hotel is awful!

I stayed 1 night while traveling on business. The room was clean and quiet. The bathroom modern. The staff were friendly in a corporate sort of a way. Breakfast was standard English. It was a good deal especialy for the money. I would be happy to stay again.
