Was a bit annoyed that I booked a double room and the first room given to me was a twin. The next room weas in fact a double but the key would not work so after three trips back to the reception this was sorted, apart from that, was pleased overall.

Le montant des deux chambres a été prélevé de la carte qui a servi pour la confirmation. Or nous souhaitions régler en liquide. Donc il est déplorable de voir écrit sur la feuille de commande que la carte ne sera pas débitée si l'hôtel ne le respecte pas.

On arrival I had to wait 10 mins to be checked in do to no staff covering the desk, the key given didn't work, so i had to get a new one. The decor was tatty throughout the hotel. the room was spacious but there were broken lights, burns in the carpets, no plug socket for the kettle near where it was placed. The duvet cover was too small for the duvet. The bar area was something i would expect in a social club uninviting and sparse. When leaving the hotel there again was no staff on the desk I waited around but had to leave as my taxi was waiting and ended up just leaving my room key on the desk. Although the price was ok it was a very dissapointiong visit.

It was what we were looking for - we needed a place just off the highway with a comfortable bed. The bed was indeed comfortable and the bathroom was relatively large. In general it was expensive for a place without many services to provide. Also, carrying bags up 3 flights of stairs was not enjoyable!

From the M6, exit at junction 6 and join the A38. Then leave the A38 onto the A5127 (Aston Road). After 500 yards (450 metres) take the first exit off Dartmouth Circus onto the A4540. Follow signs for the A45-Airport/NEC. At Bordesley Circus, take the second exit onto the A45. After 1 mile (1.6 km) at Poets Corner Island take the third exit onto Golden Hillock Road. The property is on the right hand side.
From the M40, join the M42. Then leave the M42 at junction 6 and head straight onto the A45 Birmingham (SE). Continue for 5-6 miles (8-9 km) following signs to City Centre. At Poet's Corner roundabout take the first left onto Golden Hillock Road. The property is on the right hand side.
From the M6, take the M42 towards Solihull, Birmingham (S) NEC & Airport. Leave the M42 at junction 6 and go straight ahead onto the A45 (Coventry Road) towards A45 Birmingham (SE), Airport. Continue for 5-6 miles (8-9 km) following signs to City Centre, at Poets Corner roundabout, take the first left onto Golden Hillock Road. The property is on the first right.
From the M4, take the M5 then the M42 towards Redditch NEC, Birmingham Airport and Birmingham (S&E). Leave the M42 at junction 6 and onto the A45 for Birmingham City Centre. Continue for 5-6 miles (8-9 km) following signs to City Centre. At Poet's Corner roundabout take the first exit onto Golden Hillock Road. The property is on the right hand side.
From the airport, join the A45 and follow signs for Birmingham City. Continue for 5-6 miles (8-9 km) to the City Centre. At Poets Corner Roundabout take the first left into Golden Hillock Road. The property is on the right hand side.
