Had an absolutely fantastic stay while visiting for the Goldfrapp concert, the staff were easily the best I've ever come across and for that reason it will be the only hotel we stay at when visiting Birmingham, a Massive Well Done to the team!!!

Probably the smallest room I've ever stayed in but we were staying to be near broad at for a night out, so hotel was perfect for that. Would have been better if they had a bar for a pre drink, room was clean & spacious bathroom.

very small room (but ok for the price) - clean & tidy - very friendly staff - this was a room with no windows, which I think should be mentionned on the advert (with an option to change)

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was small (well, I knew that before, is exactly like the photo shows) but for two days I did not mind. I prefer small but clean, new and quiet (I had previous bad experiences with hotels in England). The room was very clean and cozy. Everything was new and I really liked the bathroom (shower working perfectly, clean floor...). Maybe they should leave more shampoo (we were two and there was just a small bottle). The kettle did not work, although they gave me hot water from the bar for my tea! Anyway I would prefer that the kettle were working so I could make tea whenever I want (I was there for a presentation in a symposium so I was basically working in the room). The bed was quite comfy. Even though I am not a TV person, the flat screen TV in the room was just amazing. I put BBC in the morning while getting ready and I discover that it had even alarm clock. They have free wifi (a thing that many hotels do not) and works very fast. Unusual too. My room did not have windows (I knew that too when I booked) but it didn't feel weird or uncomfortable at all. You have a panel where you can control the ligths (you have a night light too) and the heating. The only thing is that if you leave your hotel card on during the night (I did that so I could charge my PC and phone) the panel has a light that from some people can be a problem for sleeping. Not for me. Anyway, the problem is solved if you take out the hotel card (but you can't use the lights or the sockets then, because everything switchs off). The common area was really nice, clean and very fancy and modern. I didn't have breakfast (you had to pay that apart) because I had a coffee outside so I can't talk about that! I really enjoyed my stay. I would recommend it for a short stay (it is true that you don't have many space if you have a really big luggage) but maybe they have bigger rooms!! I stayed two nights and I really liked it anyway.

No complaints at all. The rooms are small but I know that before booking. It was clean, comfortable and excellently positioned for bars, clubs, restaurants and shopping. I'd love to return if the price is right!

Although i got my room at a discount price I was astonished to see how small it was. I think the advertisement was very misleading in this respect as wouldn't have booked the room if I knew it was just big enough to fit the bed! My friend and I struggled to get changed in there at the same time (not enough room to swing a cat comes to mind)and had to take turns to use the meager space. Location was great however, and the bed was super comfy.
