Miróhotel - Bilbao

Very glad to be back in Bilbao, and very glad with this hotel. Breakfast is expensive, but very good. The view to the Guggenheim is excellent.

Excellent hotel opposite the Guggenheim museum. Modern but small rooms. Excellent service.

Best location for Museo Guggenheim Bilbao, nice breakfast (a lot of kinds of bread, cheese, vegetables and fruits)

On your website you quoted 12 euros per night for car parking infact the charge was 17 euros per night

Great hotel. Great location. Great attitude of the staff. The bar clsoes at 11.30 which is a bit early if you are on a holiday!!

Gorgeous hotel, friendly staff, right accross the street from the museum. the city itself was absolutely dead though.

Es un hotel moderno, aunque pequeño, pero de mucho diseño. Su ubicación es inmejorable, al encontrarse a unos pasos del Guggenheim Museum, y de lugares muy buenos para comer, cenar y salir por la noche. Todo queda cerca para caminar. Todos estos beneficios, además del calidad del hotel por el precio por noche es excelente. El único punto malo, es que cuando estuvimos ahi, la calle del hotel estaba en reparación, y aunque no hay ningun problema para que los coches o taxis lleguen al hotel, es un poco incómodo ya que hay un mínimo espacio para descargar maletas y tiempo límitado, pero supongo que esto es temporal.

Room good reception staff excellent garaging service very good, car whisked away and brought back with minimal delay road works outside may have contributed to smell of drains in lobby strong tobacco smell in 5th floor corridor but room was clear of smell unfortunately the clever architect/designer overlooked the need for plugs to the wash basins

The Miro was much better than I expected. I often take the information provided on the internet with a grain of salt and expect a certain margin of error. However the Miro turned out to be one of the best places I stayed in during my 3 month European adventure which included France. Everyone greeted me warmly and extended the welcome by happily providing information whenever I needed it. The location couldn't have been better...just down the street and across from the Guggenheim Bilbao which was my primary destination. For breakfast you had a choice of continental or selections from the buffet such as the beautiful cured meats that Spain is known for and the selections for room service were delicious as well. All this and they provided parking service. My experience there left me wishing I could stay longer than the two days I had alloted.

Excellent welcome on arrival. Gorko who took bags to room was very good and helpful. Room service menu stated all available but could only get limited items. Room was large with plenty of space. breakfast was good value. Very cooperative staff. Check details with Guggenheim first as to how much of the gallery is open. great Pizza place around corner.

Miróhotel is perfectly situated next to the Guggenheim and to many excellent tapas places. The room very stylish and minimalistic, but unfortunately not well functioning. The a/c did not reach into the bedroom (only in the entrance area) so it became extremely hot in the night. Also, it was leaking heavily from the shower onto the bathroom floor, which was very unpleasant.

Stylish, modern mid-size hotel, well maintained nice rooms, and very convenient located to the Museums. Staff is well motivated and friendly, however check your invoice for completeness. I recommend the the location.

An excellent, well located hotel. Very good and caring service with plenty of personal touches. It's in a good position. We thought it one of the best hotels in Bilbao.

I had a wonderful stay at the Miro. The Staff was amazing and were quite tolerant of my attempts to speak to them in Spanish. They all spoke English particualarly well compared to other hotels I visited in Spain during my recent visit. The hotel has a great modern design that complements that little museum accross the street, you know, the GUGGENHEIM!!! The staff, from the folks at reception, to the porters who brought up my bags, to the bartender in the hip bar, were great. I'll definitely go back.

Mirohotel resulted in a very nice surprise in terms of location, facilities, and overall service quality. The rooms are gorgeous, the personnel is very helpful and you could not ask for a better location. It is just half a block away from the Guggenheim Bilbao Museum, and a few blocks from downtown Bilbao.

Really nice hotel. Modern, clean and interesting. Hotel staff could not have been nicer! Loved the downstairs public bathrooms - they were brilliant. Worth a trip by themselves.

It was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in - stylish and extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was particularly excellent. And it's only a few minutes walk from the Guggenheim too.
