Hotel Ercilla - Bilbao

No problem with the hotel, however, no AC in the bathroom and bad view! concerning the hotel cafeteria, it was just awful!! very bad quality (wine, meal, dessert), no service, several errors in the bill....just forget this place!

Hotel is located in the center of Bilboa. But the employees not helpful. They charged 17 Euro for parking which is written 14 Euro in internet. We didnt drink anything from refriregator. They try to charge 30 Euro for everyday (Don't open the refriregator) The floor surfaced with a carpet and it was old. I really don't recommend to stay in this hotel.

Hôtel bien situé, près des musées, mais les services sont payants et extrêmement chers (9 € par heure de connexion wifi !). Hôtel idéal pour gros budgets.

The only point that would need improvement is breakfast, which was not to the level expected. Except this, the Ercilla hotel was really great.

Excellent location and fantastic hotel. Very helpful staff and clean room. I found the common areas a bit intimidating and unwelcoming, but only because I was on my own.

A bit hard to find without a precise map of Bilbao. Well situated in city center, near Guggenheim museum. Breakfast too expensive, we had it in a bar on the opposite side of the street. Access to internet too expensive also.

I wish we had stayed longer. The price was really good and we had plenty of room with an extra bed for our 5 year old and a cot for our 1 year old. The bathroom was very nice, beds were comfortable. My only complaint was that the coffee in the breakfast room was not very nice. Would stay there again for sure.

Very poor cramped room. Carpets and furniture in need of renovation. All rooms smelled horribly of smoke. Moved to a bigger more expensive room but still thought it was poor.

This was a very good value in an excellent location, though a bit of a challenge to reach by car. Breakfast quality was only marginal for the price.

Don't have dinner at the hotel's restaurant : the quality of the food is awful.

This was our first visit. The location of the hotel is very central. Everywhere is within 5 mins walk. We arrived Holy Thursday - everything was closed due to Semana Santa which made the city seem like a ghost town. But there were 100,000 people on the streets later for processions. The hotel was fantastic value for money, lobby and bar are spectacular. Our room was very tight on space but other than that the hotel was really excellent. The restaurant is great in the hotel for a treat meal. We really enjoyed Bilbao and it was so easy to get around.

The hotel is very nice and they are currently working to make it even better. Location is excellent. I booked a room at an higher price and, some days after, they advised me that a better offer was posted on Venere.
