Nice hotel, great location 30seconds walk to beach and right in the heart of restaurants bars etc... Rooms were lovely and bright and we had a balcony that had a small view of the sea (lovely). The one fault was that the curtains were hanging off on one side and the handle on the balcony doors were broken and I thought this seemed a bit careless. I would return to this hotel and to Biarritz which I thought had exellent beaches and views etc...

Ideal position in centre of town for beaches restaurants bars shops etc. Front roooms could be noisy because of this. We had a back room which was fine.

Stayed three nights. Really well situated hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Buffet breakfast quite basic, but OK. I would recommend this hotel.

It was our first visit to Biarritz, let alone the Marbella. We found the Marbella with some difficulty, and parking, even to unload our luggage was extremely difficult. We had originally intended to keep the hire car we had until the next morning, but in view of lack of place to put it had to go to great trouble to surrender it at the station and find my way back by public transport. There was a lot of street noise outside the hotel, and I did not find the bed very comfortable; thus we were really rather glad to get away when our taxi came in the morning. One definite plus was that the taxi arrived on time.

Lovely town, very characterfull. Great location of hotel, central to beach (but no views) and cafes, easy to get around on foot, parking a bit of a game for the uninitiated but safe. Hotel best for couples, families could be annoyed by 4a.m. street cleaning outside. Rooms clean but compact as everywhere else in B'ritz. Incoming staff charming and helpful, outgoing staff a bit of a dragon but my bad french was still better than her english so we got over it! Didnt try the hotel restaurant, found the Miremont breakfast - best hot chocolate ever! Locals lovely and didn't mind what you did to their language.

The only thing that was of concern was perhaps my misinterpretation of what a triple was. I thought that there would be three beds but there were only two. It was difficult for two of my sons to have to share a bed. After one day a single opened and we took that room as well.

A small nice hotel in a central location close to the city beaches, restaurants etc. The air conditioning is a little noisy though. Overall a good price/quality relationship.

We spent 3 nights in this hotel. The location is perfect - 2 minutes' walk from the beach and right beside the town centre. The staff were friendly and the hotel was comfortable. The bathroom was a little tired but was fine. The room itself was excellent. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in Biarritz.

30 mins taxi from airport, 1 minute beach, 30 mins walk to Biarritz rugby (no private beach or possible sea view as stated on website!). Very good restaurant, good breakfast (not complimentary) friendly staff - would stay again.

The hotel was adequate, very close to amenities and a beautiful beach but noisy at times and the showers were of poor quality or damaged and the air conditioning was noisy.

Location very close to the beach and to the center by walk. Negative remark: if you plan to visit Biarritz in summer (especially in august) be prepared to have some parking problems. A public parking is very close to the hotel but if offers few places. Some other parkings are available around 500 m far from the hotel

I have travelled extensively and rarely complain. However, without doubt this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The management & staff were rude and had no regards to the wellbeing of their guests. The fault with the air-conditioning was initially not acted upon. One we remined them, the manager just shrugged his shoulders as if to say "what could he do about it!". They did not tell us when the repair would be made, nor did they keep us informed of progress. By the time we left I do not beleive any action had been taken. Overall, shocking is the word for the standard of service we received!
