L'hôtel est charmant, situé non loin d'une épicerie et d'un distributeur de billet. Nous avions pris la petite chambre, qui est REELLEMENT petite. Le service fut parfait le premier jour, mais le second, le petit déjeuné (coûteux)avait un goût assez étrange (croissants et beurre). Dans l'ensemble, très bien s'il on reste une nuit, seul(e) ou en couple.

Brush up on your french skills.... The Madam is lovely but was a very apparent language barrier.... Only a 15 min walk to the beach, but is uphill on the way back and taxis are few and far between. Very unusual B&B, many ornaments and trinckets everywhere!! Lots of character though.

This is a very nice hotel for it's price and very clean. C'est un tres joli hotel pour le prix et tres propre. Rooms are very spacious for a double room. Les chambres doubles sont tres spaciaux. The lady of the house is very helpful and friendly and is most forthcoming. La femme de l'hotel est tres chaleureuse, aimable et ouverte. The only downside is that she doesn't speak English but as I speak French so it was good! Le seul inconvenient est qu'elle ne parle pas l'anglais! Breakfast is very reasonably priced with abundant food and in a lovely setting in the garden. On a eu un bon petit dejeuner pour un bon prix dans le joli jardin. There is a 15 minute or more walk to the town centre which is quite a walk! Le trajet a pied au centre-ville dure 15 minutes ou plus qui me semblait tres long! A very nice stay overall. En tout un tres agreable sejour

Chambre spacieuse (la notre mais pas toutes) mais poussiéreuse. Le rapport Prix/Prestation est correct sans plus. Problème d'eau chaude récurent et la salle de bain est un peu étriquée. Le petit déjeuner dans le jardin était sympathique mais il est un peu cher surtout que les produits proposés ne sont pas d'une qualité extraordinaire. Par contre, contrairement à ce qui est indiqué, il n'y a pas de WiFi Internet. L'accueil est correct. En bref, cet hôtel est acceptable mais n'a rien d'exceptionnel.

El hotel muy sucio!! Maté 5 arañas en 2 dos días. La tía no limpió la habitación!! Y la peor de todo, pagué las 2 noches de hotel en efectivo y al llegar a casa la mujer me había cobrado otra más através de los datos de mi tarjeta!

The hotel was great, Mrs Romance was very friendly and always nice. It's a bit too far from the centre, but with a good condition you can make it. All in all, we had a great time in the hotel and in Biarritz.

This is definitely the worst "Hotel" I have ever stayed in, It is basically a lean to shed in the lady,s back garden.The room was so damp that the drawers would not open and there were spiders in the bathroom. You have to lower a steel shutter over the door for security as the lock does not work. The garden is a tiny postage stamp much smaller the the average lawn. The lady demanded full payment before handing out the key to the shutter which you have to lift to get from her back garden to the street. The breakfast consisted of cold croissants with two old pots half filled with jam. We stayed one night which cost us over E350 because we had payed upfront for 4 nights. We moved to the Hotel D'Anjou in the town centre, an excellent basic Hotel for a similar price. Biarritz is well worth a visit but Do not stay here

We stayed at La Romance for 1 night on our journey through France to Portugal. Madame gave us a very warm welcome and although we did not speak French and Madame's English was limited we managed to communicate very well. Hotel only 5 minute walk from the centre of Biarritz. I would recommend the hotel and the town of Biarritz as a lovely place to spend a few days relaxing.

A lovely relaxing atmosphere. The rooms have a really special personal touch. walkable distance to the beach but out of the hustle and bustle of downtown area. Bakery, post office, grocery store all very handy. Friendly service. One thing though, the directions to get there by car were a bit confusing.

Hotel La Romance stands out from all hotels. It is not posh one, it dosn't have high class facilities,but it has its own class and style, typical" french" with lots of charm and warmth. The owner put a lot of effort to make it look unrepeatable,from every curtain to a tablecloth.She is a very nice women,kind and warmwelcomed. My wife and I have good memories and we hope to be back to this hotel in future.

We had a twin room and it was excellent for us. A really nice garden for breakfast , great hostess, very pleasant neighbourhood and plenty to eat for breakfast.

as it was our first them staying here my wife and i tought it to be very nice a little out of town but just right for the evening walks and bus service to take you to the town or the railway station or to the airport bus stop was 1 min walk away overall we found it to be an 8 out 10

A very pleasant hotel and a helpful owner. In a ideal location, 15 mins walk from bech front. Walk back is uphill but still only a short walk. Rooms were ideal for 2 people with a nice spacious bathroom. Owner can be a little fussy but is very pleasant and will help as often as possible. A little more than basic french is needed to communicate as the owner isn't fluent in english. Top hotel, great stay. THANKS *****

la dueña del hotel no sabia castellano,por lo que para que me devoliviera el dinero que me habia cobrado previamente me costo mucho esfuerzo.No nos cambiaron las toallas, ni las sabanas. No nos enseño el jardin.en general, muchos detalles que no me gustaron nada.

The hotel is nice,not far from city centre and with car park facility. The service is good but the owner lady of the hotel is a little bit rude, even if an hospitale women. The average feedback is quite positive.

Excellent welcome and good service overall. Location was great for us as we had our own car but may be slightly tricky without. Map directions on web site were correct until last instruction which had the hotel on the wrong side of the road which was a bit a annoying. Only a short walk from all main tourist areas, beaches, etc. Decent value for Biarritz in July considering we booked quite late. Breakfast was OK but nothing great.

Pessima esperienza. L'albergo è sporco, la camera che ci hanno assegnato era troppo piccola per un soggiorno de più giorni. la titolare ha inserito nel contratto prestazioni non richieste (le colazioni e la cassaforte), pretendendo il pagamento anticipato e rifiutandosi di restituire i soldi una volta chiarito a cosa corrispondessero. Per di più ha messo nel conto 60€ di troppo, che con fatica (sono dovuto andare io nella sua banca!)sono riuscito a riavere. in conclusione: non andate in questo albergo!

Regole dell'albergo: - pagamento del 30% al momento della prenotazione, - pagamento anticipato all'arrivo, maggiorato da tasse di soggiorno, - potevamo utilizzare il telecomando della tv solo dietro pagamento di cauzione. La signora ha insistito per la colazione ed è rimasta male al nostro rifiuto. In una camera disponevamo di un solo asciugamano per due persone. L'ambiente era molto curato anche se troppo lezioso.

le prix de la chambre était plus élevé que prévu dans les tarifs sur internet, nous aurions aimé être informé avant notre arrivée que les prix étaient plus importants en réservant sur internet.

La mujer de la recepción tratará de convencerte de que el suplemento del desayuno es obligatorio. Te lo tratará de vender con técnicas de mercadillo y, si finalmente no lo consigue, olvidate de los buenos modales y acostumbrate a las caras largas y las frases cortantes como por ejemplo, y sin razón alguna: "si haceis ruido os pongo en la calle"

The landlady is extremely warm-hearted and makes you feel at home right from the start. The atmosphere within the house is cosy and the surroundings (garden, furniture) are very romantic. At any rate recommendable !

The room was quite small for two people, the breakfast in the garden was charming although the service.

Excellent Family room, ask for the double room downstairs which has patio doors to the garden. Landlady insisted that we take breakfast which wasn't good value. It is further than 2km to the beach, more like 4km. Overall is very good value for money.
