The only problem we had is that the hotel charged the card used to book the hotel on venere.com. When we went to check out they told us it was already paid! This is was very bothersome because we had intended to use another form of payement.

Biarritz is a nice town, the hotel is well located not far from the center of the town, the welcoming is good. Howevere, it is not always easy to find a parking place and rooms are not very quiet (lots of noise can be heard from other rooms and from the street)

A good value hotel in a convenient location. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. My single room was quiet and clean although using the bathroom was a bit of a squeeze. The optional breakfast was only average but there are several good places to eat a better breakfast just minutes walk away. Overall I was happy with my stay.

Hello, the hotel is just fine to stay for a couple of days, it is close to beaches (surfing schools), and to main streets (shops, restaraunts). Friendly personall, allowed us to leave our luggage in hotel after check out till 5 p.m.. Keep in mind that after 5 p.m. there is no one at the reception, please inform them if you are going to check in at late! If you are already checked in, you gain password key for coming in and out, so it doesn't matter. Window in my room was right in front of "beautifull" wall. Stairway to fourth floor is narrow and there is no lift. Restroom is very very very narrow, the distance between the toilet and the door was 30 cm, be sure that you are short legged. I'll return at that hotel because it is ok for surfing in Biarritz.

The Hotel Argi Eder is a good value hotel in a fabulous location. The hotel doesn't delivery many bells or whistles, but it's proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants make it a good place to stay in Biarritz.

We stayed in a double room on the top floor. As we were on a surf trip to biarritz we found this hotel to be very acommadating to us. pretty much in the old port area it was close enough to all you need. The shop was about 2 blocks away and the plage des basques right around the corner. They had a plce to put your wetsuit and board which is the very important to surf travellers.

The Argi Eder is a very pleasant hotel only 15 mins stroll to the beach,we arrived by train and had a slightly hard time finding the street, the rooms have a guest house feel more then a hotel but that adds to the charm of the place. You will be hard pushed to find better for the price and location.By the way on checking in the lady(the do have multi-lingual staff) spoke no english and our french was basic to say the least but at night the reception is closed and you gain entry via a keypad code this took us about 30 mins to figure out that it's on the room key fob, that may have been down to too much vino though!

This is a very pleasant, simple hotel, to which I would return, located close to the beaches and restaurants. There is no lift. There is a bus from the train station; however, if you have a return on an early morning train, taxi may be the only option.

Hotel basic, clean, comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Pay and display parking outside, car park nearby and situated close to beach, restaurants and few minutes walk from the centre it it ticks all boxes for convenience and value. No hesitation about using again and spending money saved in a good restaurant.

Good hotel location. Has a market (i think it's opened daily, closes at 1.30pm) and a little supermarket in the street just behind the hotel. 5 min walk to heart of town, beach and laudry mat. Quiet street. Went in summer - room was sufficiently cooled with ceiling fan; no air conditioning though we didn't really need it. No lifts so we had to cart our bags up 3 floors - we happened to be on the top floor. Not a big hassle although people with bad backs might want to keep this in mind. A few streets walk away to bus stop which takes you to the main train station. Would stay there again for sure!

Très bon accueil. Les deux seuls points faibles sont la salle de bain qui était vraiment très petite et mal aérée, et le bruit dans la rue le matin. En revanche, l'hotel est très bien placé et les chambres propres.

Good budget hotel. No frills but clean and the staff are friendly and speak good English. Walls are a bit thin. Perfect location for beaches/ surfing and right in the centre for shopping/ dining/ night life. For the money, great value for people on a budget, especially if you don't intend to spend much time in your room.

The hotel is in a fantastic locatoin - walking distance to the centre of town. The roms are small but the prices are cheap - it is good value. Owners were friendly, rooms clean and tidy. There was some slight traffic noise from the street outside but it is not too busy. Overall, I think it is a good 2-star hotel and would stay here again.

When all you need is a bed and a good shower I'd reccomend the Hotel Argi Eder. Very central in a quiet neighbourhood. Nothing was a problem for the owners in terms of arranging last minute breakfasts, taxis etc.

The hotel was in a very quiet area very close to all amenities, i.e. the beach, shops, pubs, and restuarants. The hotel, although the room was small, had everything required for a comfortable stay with very welcoming and helpfull staff.

If it is location you are after then Argi Eder is OK as it is situated close to all amenities and beaches. However it is too basic for a two star hotel. The rooms are tiny and the entry to the bathroom is more of a divide than a door. Would not recommend.

This hotel was a perfectly good place to stay, conveniently close to the centre of Biarritz. However, I was only there for one night as I arrived late at the airport, and just needed a place to lay my head. Were I staying for longer I would prefer a place with more character and more imaginatively designed rooms, the two I saw, while clean and neat, were painted a dull blue and were generally uninspiring. The extremely limited public area was all too public! Other hotels I stayed at for the next few nights were all more interesting, welcoming, and cheaper, but admittedly, they were all in Spain!
