great location and good value for a Bern hotel, Walls are a bit thin so some noise from other rooms, and the furniture a bit functional. Good windows so little street noise. The fitness area was nice, but the machines were not so stable. Useful PC corner with free internet and a printer, plus free tea and coffee. Breakfast adequate.

Great breakfast buffet. Small room and some noise transmission between rooms, but free tea and coffee and satellite TV was a bonus. Free wiFi would be good.

The hotel is well-located. The computer room at the 3rd floor is quite nice and convenient. There is also tea available at 4th floor and other facilities. Very nice place. However the rooms have no air-conditioned and can not be left openned due to a noise public area with several trucks working early at every morning. We can also feel the residues of fuel which come inside the rooms.

Very nice and clean hotel in the old town of Bern. Everything very good - only the breakfast seemed to be put up early in the morning (dry cheese etc.)

Clean, modern hotel with all the expected services for the business or leisure traveller. Well located in the city centre and 10 minutes walk from the main railway station. Would use this hotel again and would recommend. (Make sure and check out the rooftop terrace!!).

Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff. Initially we were given a room by the elevator, and it was too disturbing. On the check-in day no other rooms were available, but were given a different room on the next day, and the substitute was fine. It should be noted though that it would not be pleasant to stay by the elevator. The main disadvantage was expensive parking (even subject to hotel discount) that was however located right by the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful, and services even exceeded thoseindicated in the net.

The hotel was convenient to the station and the city. Tea and coffee facilities as well as internet were provided free of charge in a common area. Due to lack of legislation in Switzerland smoking is allowed in the rooms and restaurant areas, consequently everything smelled of smoke. Pillows were too soft and doona too hot. Requested and were supplied with blankets instead.

What an exquisite gem. Deserves far more than its three star rating. Recieved excellent assistance from the staff and almost everything was complimentary (including a fitness room and sauna). Very easy to find and in a superb location.

For a small city, the hotel was very well located, only two blocks from the train station and around the corner from plenty of restaurants and cafes, as well as the business district. The hotel itself was very modern and professional, the rooms very comfortable, with free internet and other facilities available. A very strong competitor for the upper class hotels on the same block.

I was actually pleasantly surprised. The photos on the venere site do not do the hotel justice. It must have been renovated since they were taken. I was expecting something old & tired but got fresh, clean & new! It was good value for money for a 3 star hotel. I was pleased with the convenience of the hotel to the centre of the city. It was in a pleasant street, was very clean and I would stay here again. The staff were pleasant & although we did not use the other facilities, there were gym & games facilities not mentioned on the internet site.

The staff were accommodating and helpful. The hotel nicely situated in the town center. The public parking and tram lines were very close to it. Our room was on the 3rd floor, along the busy street. I didn't find it noisy at all. They have no parking spot for guests so it proved very expensive for us since we used the public parking for 2 days. None of the printers in the 3rd floor cybercafe worked. Some PCs were slow, not appropriate for web browsing.

We loved the hotel but street repair work was going on outside and the noise was horrible! Since there was no airconditioning we had to keep the windows open but it was impossible to sleep.

Albergo moderno, pulito e senza rumori. La colazione potrebbe essere migliore ma non è che sia un disastro. Insomma, una buona scelta. Modern, clean and quiet hotel. Breakfast could be better, but it's not horrible. A good choice! Hotel modern, net i tranquil. L'esmorzar podria ser millor, pero tampoc es horrible. Una bona eleccio!

A really great hotel. The staff was especially informed in helping us get around and to the location outside of the city that we wanted to go to (Swiss LDS temple). Clean, close to everything, new, great breakfast. Will stay there again.
