The Mandala Hotel is a modern property, located on the Potsdamer Platz, in the centre of Berlin, just 1.5 km from the Brandenburger Tor.

I upgraded my room from a studio to a suite when I ordered from venere. When I got to the hotel they put me in the smallest studio. There was no air conditioning in the room and when I called the staff abotu the heat they first said, "Well you have no air conditioning so maybe you should just open a window." I insisted on a room with air conditioning and asked why I was not given a larger room as I ordered. They did get me a room with A/C but I was put in the identical sized room. While surfing the web in the room (for 10 Euros additional a day) I found their website and pictures of the rooms as well as rates. At checkout I showed this to the front desk person who said that prices from Venere were more expensive than if I ordered from them directly. He decribed the difference between Studio and Suite as a 40sq M room with city view as compared to the same room with garden view even thought the web site clearly shows something different. The location was great for Checkpoint Charlie and for Brandenburg and the rooms were VERY clean. Those are about the only good things I can say about my stay at Mandala.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: the rooms are available at anytime from 3 p.m.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms not later than midday.
INCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Cribs are provided at no extra charge.
Children aged between 3 and 5 stay free in a room with two paying adults in existing bedding.
Rollaway beds for children cost €30,00 each for children aged 3-5, €40,00 each for children aged 6-11 and €80,00 for children aged between 12 and 17 years.
Wireless Internet access is not included in the price.
Pets are accepted on request for an extra charge of €80,00 per day.
Use of the fitness room and the wellness center is included in the price.
Bike rental is free of charge.
Limousine service to/from the airport/railway station and valet parking are not included; prices on request.
Access to the private treatment suites is not included in the price.
Excluding B&B rates, breakfast is not included in the price and costs €24,00 per guest aged 12 and over and €12,00 per child aged 6-11. There is no breakfast charge for children aged 5 and under.
CANCELLATION POLICY
For reservations cancelled later than 24 hours before
arrival, the hotel reserves the right to charge 90% of the
first night's room and tax in the event that the room
cannot be re-sold.
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 1 day before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
