We stayed in Berlin for 6 days, the hotel was perfect from the point of view of the location: near the artistic-historical centre of the city (more or less 10 minutes on foot from "unter den Linden"!)and at the same time quiet and located in a very fascinating spot of the river banks. Rooms were nice, confortable and well cleaned. Nice decorations, expecially in the corridors leading to them, created a pleasant atmosphere. The television was really huge, such as you wouldn't expect in a hotel room. Only two aspects weren't "perfect" in the room: power sockets pretty hidden and quite unreachable and the bath sink, which was really mignon size!

Nice hotel, good ratio price/service, thinking of the room dimension, for the price they might include breakfast, at least basic.

I was extremely happy with my stay at the Riverside. The location just across the bridge from the Friedrichstrasse subway is incredibly convenient and the room was lovely. The staff was also very helpful.

Very satisfied by the accomodation. Was upgraded to a double room free of charge on arrival. The staff is very friendly and helpful The hotel is right on the riverside, very nice setting especially for an evening meal. Free wifi a must for those internet dependants Very easy access to rail and underground stations, 3 minte walk. Added bonus: The hotel has a day spa and as a guest you have full use of the facilities at no cost!

I stayed for 3 nights, the room had a beautiful view of the river and was larger than I expected. The large bed was very welcome after my 16 hour flight and I was very grateful for it. The location is outstanding and the price I paid was relatively inexpensive.

Clean and confortable hotel, in a very good position (really close to Friedrichstrasse Station and Oranienburger Strasse nightlife, at walking distance from Brandenburg Gate and Museum Island). There is a day spa in the hotel. Not expensive with regards to its category. I had a single room with a big bed, the bathroom was on the floor but it was reserved for me. Employees are very kind and helpful, and fluent in English.

A good location if you are interested in visit some of the most important historic sites of the city. But very far from the best shopping areas of Berlin. Good facility to use internet. Not so good (actualy rude) service when you ask for information about places do go or to visit in the city

Excellent hotel. My room had no bathroom, but the bathroom on the floor was large and immaculately clean. Location is superb - my window looked right out onto the river, and the hotel is a short walk from the Friedrichstrasse station. Incredible value.

Staying at this hotel is almost more like renting an apartment in the center of Berlin for a few days, especially if you don't eat breakfast at the hotel. The reasons for this are that the hotel has rooms on one floor of what is an apartment building and that you can enter and leave without even going through the hotel lobby. The room was small but clean. The location was excellent, a short walk from a major S-Bahn/Subway station and within walking distance of Museum Island, the Reichstag, and many other sites. It is in a vibrant district with restaurants and nightclubs, although my wife found the area a bit seedy, especially because of the prostitutes hanging around at night 2 blocks away from the hotel.

It is a nice hotel. The rooms are more flats than the typical hotel rooms. Standart is avarage.

I was very pleased with this property. The room was larger than I anticipated and the staff members were all very friendly. There was some hesitancy to "help out" with tourist type issues, but usually the staff could provide the answers requested. The property was kept very clean, and although some of the carpeting seemed a bit worn, there was nothing about the facility that made me feel uncomfortable. The property is very close to public transportation and many of the sights that I, as a tourist, wanted to see were within walking distance. I would stay here again and I would recommend this property to others.

The location was ideal for visiting most of the main tourist sites by foot and with the main station (Friedrichstr) only 2 minutes away travel further afield was made easy. There were also plenty of restaurants / cafes close by. The hotel itself was very clean and quiet and although the room was on the small size it was more than adequate.

Ottima sistemazione! Ottimo rapporto qualita'/prezzo.

The hotel is in a great location, quiet, clean and walking distance to everything of interest and more. Berlin is a great city and the hotel is located in the heart. When I had book I was lead to believe the breakfast was included in the room price, it wasn’t and at 8 euro, the price was expensive. There are numerous breakfast places down the street for much less.

We were given a room with two single beds when we asked for a double firstly. Then we had to figure out for ourselves that our bathroom was actually not in our room, but down the hall. This was a bit annoying and the staff never even mentioned this. The room was clean apart from a big stain on one of the chairs. There is no one at the desk past 10 at night and before 8 in the morning, so be aware of this if you need to check out at another time. The hotel is located right in the middle of the main street though, which was great. And the Indian restaurant next to the hotel is great and very cheap as well. You can walk to the Berlin Wall and other sights. Other than that, it was just OK.

This is a reasonably priced hotel in a v good central location and v close to a main rail station. The staff were v helpful and welcoming Rooms have minimalist decor and are fairly basic but were clean and had the necessary amenities and good bathroom/shower.Reasonable selection/quality of breakfast food. Only minor grumble from one of our group was that in rooms on the part of hotel next to main road there was some traffic noise at night although I was in a central room and could not hear any external noise. .For our group we were v pleased with our choice of hotel and if you are looking for somewhere simple but comfortable in Central Berlin it is highly recommended

Excellent value, so central for the sights, and within very easy walking distance of Freiderchstrasse train and underground stations. An easy journey (approx. 45 minutes even on a "slow" train) to and from Schonefeld airport.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. The rooms are large, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, and the bathrooms are luxurious. Breakfast is more than adequate, and service is prompt. The location of the hotel is fantastic: it is within easy walking distance of all the major sites, and a lively restaurant quarter is a five-minute stroll in the evening. Because the hotel is on a major thoroughfare, it is a little noisy at night when the windows are open, but this caused us negligible inconvenience. This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in, and is particularly good value for money. I recommend it wholeheartedly, and intend to stay there again.

On the positive side, the location of the hotel was very central. There was plenty to do nearby, both day and evenings. Generally, we liked the fact that the hotel was a bit 'different'. On the negative side, we experienced some problems. The bar wasn't open, which is a shame as it would have been great to relax with a drink after a long day's sightseeing. Our room had cigarette odour coming through the bathroom piping, so we had to keep the bathroom door closed all the time and couldn't leave anything in there as it would smell of smoke. The reception service was poor - the staff appeared disorganised, very laid back and weren't especially helpful. The quality of the breakfast was poor, so we only ate in once.

Whilst a fee for breakfast is not included in the price quoted on the web site, for a fee (9 euro) one can be ordered. This hotel is in an excellent location to explore central Berlin, and the surrounding area, as it is only a couple of minutes walk from the main line station, Friedrichstrasse.

L'hotel è molto vicino al centro (5 minuti da unter den linden) e vicino alla stazione di friedrichstrasse quindi ben servito. La zona è piena di ristoranti e bar a buon prezzo. Siamo rimaste veramente soddisfatte. se dovessimo tornare a Berlino torneremmo sicuramente all'artist riverside.
