I'll recommand this hotel to my friends and relatives, though I was a bit disappointed in the reception. I had to wait 1:30h for the check-in, though we had called on the reception 4 days earlier to agree on the checking time.We arrived few minutes late for the breakfast and could'nt be served, though we had bought on extra one the day before because we had to do something until we could check-in.

Room for 3 people was that small you could not all stand up at the same time, the next door room was used by a Street walker and the noise & cigarette smoke was terrible. Staff were good and breakfast was pleasant, but could not recommend, I stayed away 1 night at a Motel One to have a good night sleep.

The Staff were very welcoming, did not speak much English but had a great time anyway and found them very nice. There is a little cash and carry across the road which is great if you anyone is traveling on a budget like we were so could just pick up something to eat and make our own sandwiches etc. Savignyplatz which is a really nice area full of bars is only a station away by tube. I would stay at this hotel again for sure. Had my own balcony and shower and was very reasonably priced, breakfast was included and was lovely. Couldn't ask for a better hotel.

I lived there five nights with my wife and two friends in order to run Berlin Marathon and enjoy Berlin. For that purpose the hotel was excellent. The service was good and there were nice restaurants nearby. It's also just 50 meters to the S-bahn which is a great advantage if one wants to move around in Berlin.

Okay hotel considering the price. We had a very noisy Saturday night (street noise and hotel guests in the coridor) but Sunday night was really quiet. A simple, clean, not unfriendly hotel

Consistent with the review of the hotel, it was in a convenient location. However, the area was not nice at all. The hotel was rigt next to three brothels, and these were not high class prostitures either. They were cheap, gross places with desparate women standing around the door propositioning passers by. The room was nicely decorated, and clean, but the carpet was old and looked bad. The room was described to have a shower. I was imagining a bathroom with a shower in addition to bath. NO! It had a shower right in the room with a sink, but no toilet; that was down the hall.

This place was great. I actually stayed at this hotel for 6 nights while searching for a permanent apartment in Berlin. It was a good place, good staff, very clean, and the rooms were very nice. It was a good price for what you get, cable, internet, I stayed in 4 different rooms in the 6 nights, this was because I was booking one day at a time and I was looking for an apartment so I didn't want to book a room in advance just in case I didn't need it. Anyway, everything was wonderful, but the only disappointment was that the internet didn't work in the room where I spent my first 2 nights. By far, the major reason I booked this hotel, was because it was advertised that there was a wireless connection in all of the rooms. But the signal doesn't reach all of the rooms. They have the dining area where the breakfast tables set up nicely 24/7, so they told me I could set up in there and get a signal, which I had to do because I had a lot of work I needed to do, but I would have preferred to be in my room because I had to make a lot of phone calls for work. Anyway, good place, good area, right near the train station, and its perfect, but if you need internet in your room, make sure to look into it first. Annd yes, the last 3 rooms I stayed in had a great connection.

It's good overall. A minor problem is that nobody working in that hotel can speak English, which brought some kind of troubles for non-German speaking travellers.

The only negative comment would be the very occasional noise of the trash cans in the back garden...the bars on the ground floor were totlly inaudible, even though I stayed at the week end. I got my breakfast even at 4.30 in the morning, there was a very friendly lady at reception all thru the night....

Very disappointing. Demanded up front payment for whole stay, then gave me a room without shower/WC contrary to my booking. Did not speak English and dismissive of complaints. I moved to another hotel for 3 days, but returned due that one becoming full and having paid for 6 days at this one (they would not refund the difference). Better room the second time, with ensuite, but still noisy. One staff member made a real effort, so it is hard to be too condemning, but the overall experience was appalling. Great access to Charlottenberg station, but the area is very seedy, alive with prostitutes at night and strip bars downstairs (not part of the hotel, but you have to pass them to get to the door).

4 bed room with shower and WC, wide enough for a family, the breakfast is abundant and various for every need. Price/quality report is good. The stairs of the building are badly smelling, but the hotel is quite clean. Reccomended for a family visiting Berlin, as it is very close to the S9 city train line (no noise from trains)

Excellent location and service if all you want is bed and breakfast. Located right next to Charlottenburg S-Bahn station, and a couple of minutes walk away from Wilmersdorfer Strasse (big shopping street). Would also recommend visiting the nearby Charlottenburg palace (a couple of stops North on the S-Bahn).

I was very happy to have chosen Stuttgarter Eck for my 7th visit to Berlin. Its location is very convenient as you can easely reach the centre as well as places like Wannsee. I can recommend the Komische Oper very much: they stage most interesting interpretations. The Berliner Ensemble is also worth visiting for the spoken theatre.

I resented the fact that we had to pay in advance (it was written on the wall) but we never experienced this before in a hotel... And we had to pay 50 euros - that was given back when we left - as an ensurance for the parking ticket (this was not mentioned on the web). The room was small and clean. The price/facilities rate was correct.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place: the staff were very nice, the copious breakfast buffet as quite impressive and filling, the room was clean (but smelled faintly of cigarettes). From what I saw at breakfast, the guests were mostly young people traveling in groups. The only downside is the location, which if removed from all the sights and happening East Berlin (although it's right on the 109 bus route that takes you to Tegel airport in 10 minutes). It's right by the s-bahn, though, so you can get anywhere you want relatively fast.

The staff particularly in the dining area were especially gracious and clean. We had excellent breakfasts with a very nice variety. Our biggest problem was with noise coming from surrounding establishments. We heard rock music and drum beats until 4 in the morning. Other wise the rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly and accomodating.

We stayed here with 2 children and two adults. Hotel Pension Stutgarter Eck is ideally situated right next to the S-Bahn station Charlottenburg. We were able to park the car right in front of the entry door. The two strip bars next to the entrance guarantee a safe parking space as the car was guarded throughout the night by two doormen!! Furthermore there are a great many small restaurants in the neighbourhood. Breakfast in the hotel is good and the rooms clean.

Very, very close (across the street) to the main S-Bahn line into Berlin. 3 strip clubs/bars under it, as well as a sushi restaurant, but they didn't cause any noise. Lobby is on the 2nd floor, rooms are a mismash of sizes and configurations as the hotel is spread out along several connected buildings. Some rooms are without toilets, but all, I believe, are with showers. We even got a fan in our room as we were staying while it was really hot (no A/C). Free parking when you borrow a street parking permit (50 euro cash deposit), as well as free breakfast in the lobby. Locks for the room were the old kind (very hard to turn, unsafe, and you have to lock them when you leave), no deadbolt on the door. Hint: When checking in, you got to ring the doorbell as the hotel is partly in a residential building.

I stayed here with 7 of my other girlfriends while on a weekend trip to Berlin. We were very pleased with the hotel's location, it is literally seconds away from the S-bahn trains. On top of the location, the owners were very sweet and helpful despite the obvious language barrier. Another plus of the hotel was the great breakfast they served. It was a typical European style breakfast which me and my friends loved! All in all we loved our stay in Berlin and would definitely stay at this hotel again! :)

The area was lovely, hotel room spotless, staff really tried to be helpful (but not very good English)breakfast was lovely. All in all we were delighted with our few days there. On the negative side(although it didn't annoy us) there are steps up to hotel and more steps to the reception area.If you are going to Berlin for a few days and only want your hotel for breakfast and sleeping then it is perfect and reasonably priced.

I read the reviews before booking this and was a little bit dubious about the one regarding strip clubs. The hotel is situated between 2 strip clubs but it is not a 'seedy' area and did not affect us in any way, we heard no noise at all from them, even late at night. It is very central with the s bahn just across the road and the u bahn a 3 minute walk away. The staff spoke very limited english but made every effort to communicate. They are very friendly and helpful, even making my son and myself a cup of coffee late one night when we arrived back from visiting friends. The continental breakfast is self service and 'eat as much as you like'. Though small, the rooms were clean and had a small shower cubicle in them, toilets being just across the corridor. We also had clean towels every day which was nice to see. Overall we had a good stay and will return again.

This is a great option for central Berlin. Although the immediate area is not beautiful (train station & strip clubs) it is not unsafe and there are great spots a very short walk away. Try the asian restaurant just around the corner. And if you dont mind not having a toilet in your room, the room with just a shower is much better value and just as big.
