Rapporto qualità/prezzo buono. Ostello pieno di gente giovane. Reception eccezionale, super gentili. Wi-fi gratis. Stanze pulite, molto basic, silenziose. Abbastanza spartano.

The location was good, easy to get into the city. The staff was helpful and welcoming and also provided good opportunity to practice language :) The room was spacious enough and clean just like the bathroom, however, my room was next to the staircase and so rather noisy. Besides this, everything was OK.

If you book online phone in advance to check location. Moved to different hotel, so unscheduled tour of rush hour Berlin. Receptionist seemed appalled our car lacked satnav. Kept awake most of the night by a party in the corridor. Breakfast was good.

We booked a double room and got a dorm room with 4 separate short beds at a second building across the river. over the 2 nights of our stay they didn't have a double room for us like we ordered, the manager was unavailable to assist us, and also - the toilet and bath got clogged and couldn't be fixed during our last day at the room. we didn't enjoy the stay at all. luckily, we were compensated by a 50% discount for our stay on both nights. this hotels is recommended for young groups, not couples or people above 20 yrs.

Very nice hostel. Nothing touristic was near, but had 2 subway stations very near. Great room, bathroom, even better breakfast and other good services as kitchen, laundry and bar. The only downfall is that was full of students from school trips, which were pretty noisy.

I stay the first time in Meininger City Hostel Hallesches Ufer. I'm 63 vears old and my wife and I was very satisfied with our double bed room and the breakfast. Only the subway in front of the Hostel is a little bit loud, but if you close the window it's okay.

By train
From the main train station (Lehrter Bahnhof): take the Metro-Bus line M41 in direction of Sonnenallee/Baumschulanstraße until Willy-Brandt-Haus. Walk in the same direction of the bus at at the first crossroad turn right. Follow the street keeping on the right side. You will see the Meininger City Hostel - Hallesches Ufer after about 50 metres.
By airplane
From Tegel Airport (TXL): take the bus X9 or 109 in direction of Zoologischer Garten and get off at Jakob-Kaiser-Platz stop. Change to the U7 underground line heading for Rudow and get off at Möckernbrücke station. Get out of the station via Hallesches Ufer/Tempelhofer Ufer exit, turn right and cross Am Halleschen Ufer street. Walk in the opposite direction of the traffic until the intersection and cross Grossbeerenstrasse street. You will see the Meininger City Hostel - Hallesches Ufer after about 100 metres.
From Schönefeld Airport (SXF): take the bus X7 or 171 towards Hermannplatz and get off at Rudow. Change to the U7 undergroud line heading for Rathaus Spandau and get off at Möckernbrücke station. Get out of the station via Hallesches Ufer/Tempelhofer Ufer exit, turn left and cross Am Halleschen Ufer street.
