Over-all very charming w/ that old world appeal. Nice neighborhood on a main street, easily accessible to busses/u-bahns.Good breakfasts and friendly, helpful staff. Surrounding neighborhood has a variety of restaurants at different $ points. The entrance to the hotel is a little quirky b/c there are 2 doors. In front of the narrow door one will see a square on the left side . Must press that to get in and then the key fobs are strange and somewhat frustrating to use to get onto your floor and then room. Just listen to the directions. Like using a locker! Shower is small if you are large. All in all, nice stay and a wonderful, full of heart city!

How to reach mD-Hotel Schöneberg
By carFrom the motorway A2 (Hannover) and A9 (Leipzig/Nürnberg):
At the motorway junction Potsdam on Berliner Ring (A10), drive in direction of Dresden. At the motorway junction Drewitz (A115) drive in direction of Berlin-Zentrum and at the motorway junction Funkturm continue on the urban highway A100 in direction of Tempelhof-Schöneberg. Take the exit Innsbrucker Platz and at the traffic light turn left into Hauptstraße. After the third traffic light you will recognize the hotel on your right hand side (Berliner Sparkasse building).
From the motorway A24 (Hamburg):
At the motorway junction Havelland on Berliner Ring (A10) drive in direction of Berlin-Zentrum and at the motorway junction Oranienburg continue on the highway A111 in direction of Berlin-Zentrum. Finally, at the motorway junction Charlottenburg, take the urban motorway A100 in direction of Zentrum, exit at Innsbrucker Platz and follow the indications above.
By train
From Zoologischer Garten railway station take bus line 146 in direction of Britz/Buschkrug and get off at Dominicus-/Hauptstraße. From the bus stop walk down the Hauptstraße for 100 metres. The hotel is located in the Sparkasse building.
By airplane
From Berlin Tegel airport:
Take bus line X9 in direction of Zentrum and get off at Zoologischer Garten railway station. Then follow the indications above.
From Berlin Tempelhof airport:
Take bus line 104 in direction of Brixplatz and get off at Hauptstraße/Eisenacherstraße. The hotel is located across the street in the Sparkasse building.
From Berlin Schönefeld airport:
Take the shuttle to Berlin Schönefeld express train (S-Bahn) station. From there take S-Bahn S45 and get off at Schöneberg station. Switch over to bus line 204 in direction of Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten and get off at Hauptstraße/Albertstraße (two bus stops).
