Tha air conditioner did not work in our room and our room was located over a hotel delivery dock. We were forced to leave the windows open and truck came and went all night, it was very noisey and nobody tried to fix the AC problem they did give us a ventilation fan in consolation

The lead concierge was absolutely wonderful in this hotel. Provided us with excellent friendly help for great restaurants around the area, how best to sight see and always with a smile and excellent English. Location of this hotel could not be better. We had an upgraded room(which cost us 20Euro extra but this put us overlooking the garden and hence was very quiet (except for around 6 am when they would roll out something outside which I am guessing was setup for a garden restaurant or equivalent). The first regular room had a Queen bed and was quite small. The upgrade was over the courtyard, still not much larger though a king bed and perhaps about 40 sq. ft more (to bring the room with bathroom to 260 sq. ft from about 220 for the regular room). Upgraded room noise was not very loud but enough to be heard. Overall, a very good hotel and I felt our average price ( for 4 nights but booked 1 month ahead with no cancellation was about 725 Euros for the upgraded room with King bed ).

The Westin Grand Berlin’s 400 rooms and suites were all recently completely renovated and are now all furnished with heavenly comfortable beds to ensure you get a good night’s sleep. The luxury bathrooms all feature a makeup and shaving mirror, a hair dryer, as well as guest bath robes and slippers.All of the modern guest rooms feature a direct-dial telephone, an office desk, a safe, a charging station for your laptop, and a high speed Internet connection so you can get some work done even after the last meeting. After you have completed the last tasks of the day, how about an after work drink from the mini bar? Sit back and relax watching satellite or pay TV channels on an LCD flat-screen for some light entertainment before you head to bed. Individually controlled air conditioning and heating as well as an individual doorbell will increase your home-like comfort.
