nice classic-styled hotel, good for those travelling by car. need 20 min train to go to the city, but easy! if you are not interested in staying in an Hotel close to the noisy center, then this is for you! only one negative thing: the public hall continuously smells of fried food and cooking. but NOT the room, it is ok. plenty of space in the bathroom and the bedroom is quite comfortable. I would say ROMANTIC.

Very nice hotel with excellent restaurant. Dinner was delicious. Breakfast was more than adequate. Train station within walking distance. The only problem was finding the hotel.

First time in Berlin, we opted to find a place far enough from the noise, but easy to get to downtown. We found it!. Beautiful hotel with nice rooms and only a block from the S-5 Kaulsdorf station. Breakfast was decent, beds were comfortable, and nice clean bathrooms as well. Highly recommend as an inexpensive alternative to pricey, loud downtown hotels.
