Hotel Residenz - Berlin

A real find - a lovely place in a super location. However, their breakfast system is a bit of a disaster. Why can't this hotel simply save themselves a lot of time and effort by cutting the price of their buffet breakfast (currently 16 Euro), so they would not have to serve the more affordable breakfasts, as they do, in a different part of the hotel?

We are a mature couple and found the hotel ideal in respect of location and facilities. The hotel details were accurately represented on the website. We would definitely stay there again

Breakfast was rather expensive

Great hotel with a smashing location two minutes walk off the better part of Kfdamm, with all the known brand chain stores in the very near by. Friendly and welcoming staff who gives good guidance and have got a good knowledge of the to-do and awoid-to-do things in the city. The room was neat and clean, the rasin chokolates at the table in the glasses irresistable! Internet available at the service senter was beeing used by other people at the time when i needed it and they let me borrow their office pc, a small but a describing detail for this hotel, the staff look at souloutins for the guests from the very time u arrive till u leave... Can defnietly recomend Golden Tulip Inn... Enjoy!

We got a very nice and big room. We are very satisfied, only two minutes to go to the Kurfürstendamm. We felt we were in the heart of Berlin. We didn't eat at the hotel - 13 euro extra per person for breakfast was to expensive for us. It's easy to get breakfast outside the hotel for 3-4 euros. We were able to park the car in the street by the hotel (parking fee), and it is a parkinghouse across the street (13 euros/24h). We didn't use the parkinghouse - it felt scary up on the 5th floor (the only floor free for use).

Easy to find, near Kudamm. Breakfast OK.

Very nice Art Deco style, the dinner room notably

Credit card number was unknown at the reception although we sent it by mail. Room had to be payed before overnight accomodation, was unusual for us and we felt annoyed at this. We travelled with dog, and we got a room with a lamp in front of the window, so it was very shiny the whole night, although there were free rooms.

Staff at this hotel were very pleasant and eager to do everything they could for you. I have special dietary needs which I advised them of before going and they knew as soon as I arrived and made a point of putting my mind at ease about how they would be able to cater for me. Had one meal in the restaurant which was really good - and not overpriced. Small gym and sauna - fine in January as obviously not too busy.
