The reason I gave a zero for public areas is because there weren't any. It's a small hotel on the top 2 floors of a building. Regarding the staff; the reception staff were first class, but I felt the people looking after the breakfast room could have been more attentive when items ran out. Finally, there was no bin in the room and when I left an empty water bottle there it wasn't touched, so I had to take my own rubbish out every day. Not much of a hardship though.

very clean hotel, good breakfast, great location,walking distance to Check point Charlie, Jewish Museum, in this hotel you must be able to walk stairs, not all staff is speaking German
