Hotel Hoppegarten Berlin - Dahlwitz-Hoppegarten, Berlin

4 star hotel and no fridge in the room?? as I asked I was told the first floor has not any refregrator. The staff offered me to use the kitchen refregerator but as I wanted to place some stuff they told, there is no lot space and I can not place the stuff in there. The Breakfast doesn't match to standard of 4 star hotel even not the standard of 3 star german breakfast. I asked also for safty nail the reception was not able to provide it, normally such suite for sewing should be available in the room. Desweiteren habe ich nach eine Sicherheitsnagel gefragt, nicht mal das konnte man mir geben. Normalerweise in 4 Sterne Hotel sollte sowas im Zimmer vorhanden sein. Keinen Kühlschrank in 4 Sterne Hotel? Als ich fragte hieß es, dass in 1.OG keinen vorhanden ist, man biet mir die Lagerung in Küchenkühlschrank und als ich am Abend was für kühlenhalten abgeben wollte, hiess es, es gibt nicht soviel Platz. Das Frühstück war mager und nicht sprechend für 4 Sterne Hotel, ich habe besseres Frühstück beim 3 Sterne Hotel in Deutschland.

If you want to spend a few days or more in Berlin and travelling by car; you should not miss the opportunity of choosing this hotel.

I really do not recomend this hotel to people without cars. It is far away from S Bahn line (30 minutes by walk) & next 30 minutes to Alexander Platz. Last bus is about 21.00. When we lost the bus we walk almost 40 minutes by walk. This hotel is good only with car.

My first stay with Hotel Hoppegarten and it will not be the last! It is an excellent hotel with comfortable rooms and beds, very clean and staff who are elcoming and seem knowlegeable about the area and facilities . My only reservations are not something the hotel can do anything about - the heavy local traffic using the road past the hotel as a rat run and the local public transport! One bus an hour and it stops at 8.30 in the evening and only Monday to Friday. Weekends it stops at 7.35 and there are only 4 buses a day Sat / Sun. The taxi fare from Hoppegarten Station is a reasonable 7 Euros for the 2km journey Do not alight at Birkenstein as there are not buses from there. There is only one bar in Hoppegarten next to the Hotel and it is only recommended for smokers but has good beer and appears friendly. Hotel is used extensivly by tour groups as a stopover - there were at least three buses each day I was there

All is ok, but it's very unlikely to find the hotel without a gps, overall if you arrive in the night

Too far away from city centre, even we travel by car. no hot water provided for drinking or need to pay for drinking hot water in the attached cafe

Very nice hotel, I have been there ~ 10 times and think, this is the best **** star hotel near Berlin.

The hotel is a little bit fare away from the city (to the S-Bahn-station 40 minutes by foot and from the S-Bahn-station to the city 40 minutes by S-Bahn). But it is a nice different to the troublesome City. For visitors who have dates in the City I recommend to take a car with.

Quality Hotel excellent, but still be discouraged, as too far from the center and above the station. Would be sufficient to provide a bicycle rental service

This was advertised as a hotel very near berlin, it wasnt and was a bit of a pain, couldnt saty in berlin late because of the lack of transport back to the hotel after 8pm. that said the hotel was lovely, and cheap. it is 4* and the staff were fab the area was boring, literally nothing there. so not great to enjoy berlin

All'arrivo in hotel siamo stati accolti da una signorina molto gentile e professinale. Nel primo pomeriggio siamo usciti per Berlino e, al nostro ritorno, avremmo voluto mangiare nel ristorante dell'albergo, ma alle 21 e 45 ci è stato detto che non era più possibile, perchè la cucina era chiusa, contrariamente al pub che vi è al suo interno dove, però, era possibile solo bere, perciò, armatevi di panini e un paio di scatolette di emergenza! Il giorno dopo siamo ripartiti ed abbiamo fatto colazione solo noi adulti e non i 2 bimbi, ma erano ugualmente e ovviamente con noi nella sala: al momento di pagare il conto, abbiamo avuto un diverbio con la receptionist di turno che quanto a pazienza e cordialità, in quel momento, almeno, non ne era attrezzata, asserendo che i piccoli erano lì, avevano mangiato e dovevano pagare.Alla fine, la colazione dei bimbi, io l'ho pagata comunque e anche di più... Passando all'Hotel, è un medio 3 stelle, distante parecchio dal centro. Non so se ci siano autobus (ma sicuramente ci saranno), perchè noi eravamo in auto. A Berlino abbiamo parcheggiato ad Alexander Platz, in un parcheggio a pagamento, nè caro nè economico, per quanto mi riguarda. Berlino è bellissima e suggestiva ancor di più al calare del sole, quando si illuminano tutte quelle monumentali costruzioni: non basta un giorno a vivere neanche in quarto di questa "mastodontica" città...

Price/quality excellent. Easy to recommend when you just want a reasonably priced stay.

Dahlwitz-Hoppegarten give us the best service for the best price! will stay in future there again if will be in area! The best restaurant service and the best food so far! Highly recommended!

The hotel is great and we got more than we expected, it was our first booking with Venere.com it is far from the center of Berlin but in a great quiet sorounding.

Very far from downtown, bad autobus service

First time and was lovely

The room was perfect , very nice view, clean and comfort. The problem was that the distance from the center of Berlin to the hotel is big.

É un hotel sorprendentemente buono per il prezzo richiesto. É un po' fuori mano ma con il bus vicino (raggiungibile a piedi) o con la U5 (a 5 minuti di macchina)si raggiunge il centro città aprofittando per guardarsi un po' intorno. Si mangia bene e buona la colazione. C'è poco spazio nel parcheggio sorvegliato ma ce n'è parecchio in quello libero di fronte (anche per autobus). La TV in camera non offre programmi in lingua italiana. Gli impiegati parlano inglese meglio del tedesco. L'Hotel è ubicato in un borgo nuovo e industrializzato, vicino al galoppatoio. Nei giornio in cui ero ospite stavano effettuando dei lavori di rinnovo dei pavimenti al piano terreno.

Difficile da trovare, vista la carenza di indicazioni. In ogni caso un ottimo hotel con un rapporto qualità/prezzo eccezionale. Belle le camere, spaziose e sopratutto pulite.ottima la colazione
