We enjoyed our stay. Nice hotel, clean rooms, although the staff member when we checked in was quite rude. The location was further than we expected. It is a 15min walk up from the metro & main street. But it is easy to use the metro so not a huge problem. Would recommend. Price was well worth it. We hired bikes in Berlin, & definitely recommend doing. Cheap, fun way to see everything!

The Grand City Hotel Globus Berlin offers 241 standard rooms for single or double use, as well as in triple rooms. The clean and bright lodgings are simply, yet comfortably furnished in a classic mix of wood surfaces, marine blue, and white. All of the cozy guest accommodations feature up to date facilities and have their own en suite bath with a shower, a toilet, and a hair dryer.Guests of the single, double, and triple rooms can sit back in a rattan arm chair watching their favorite pay TV or satellite channel, and business travelers can finish up some work at the office desk with chair, benefiting from wireless Internet access (surcharge) and direct-dial phone. Some of the accommodations on the higher levels feature a Berlin city view.
Non smoking rooms as well as a handicapped accessible single room are available upon request. The hotel also offers laundry and ironing service. Cribs and rollaway beds are available.
