Good price/quality relatioship, the place is little bit noisy, employees speak Russian

The floors make sound. The bathroom ws very small. Rooms were good, reasonably spacious, and hotel is well located.

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Freundlich, einfach, preiswert, gute Lage (U-Bahn, recht zentral), ruhig. Alles bestens.

We stayed for four nights with our two small children (4 years and 6 months) and the hotel was good value for money. The location to many places to eat, grocery stores and the U-bahn station was ideal (just around the corner). The staff was helpful and friendly when we had questions about the city and getting around. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and had a good variety. The hotel room was simple, but clean and quiet. The bathroom was a bit dated, but was clean. We would certainly stay there again on our next trip to Berlin.

Als Familie mit drei Kindern fühlten wir uns in den sauberen Zimmern während unserer Berlin-Woche sehr wohl. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und gut. Das Personal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit, vor allem bei Auskünften zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsverbindungen. Sehr angenehm ist auch, dass man in der Pension gleich die Fahrscheine für die Verkehrsmittel kaufen kann.

Clean, quite, excellent breakfast. Not in the city center but very easy to arrive thre by the metro. Very good, I recomend it

Room and bathroom not clean - toilet smelled of urine. Carpets were dirty and no closet space. Furniture appeared to be purchased in second hand store!

The staff were very helpful. The position while not in the very centre, was easily accessible to several metro routes.Which meant that most landmarks where a short journey on the very efficient metro/train system. The area also had several excellent nearby restaurants. Breakfasts were generous and of good quality. Our room was quiet and to the back of the building. The only drawbacks were a lack of lifts and in our room , an exterior toilet and shower, but the cleanliness and helpfulness of staff combined with reasonable prices made for a pleasant stay in Berlin.

The price is including breakfast, and the food is good. Location is very nearly to all attractions. Metro(U-B No.7) takes you 5 minutes on walk from the hotel. The staffe is friendly and very helpful. Recommend it to the low budget travellers or young people. The best is booking a room with own shower and toilet, that will be perfect.

On our first trip to Berlin, my husband and I stayed at Pension Gasteiner Hof. Overall we had a wonderful stay at the Pension.It was very central with easy access to the trains and thereby other destinations. The station was just around the corner from the Pension.Even so, we got lost the first evening we arrived as the information on the website does not inform you that there were more than 1 entrance out of the station. All the staff at the Pension were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was great and enjoyable. The rooms were very clean , shower was great. There were numerous restaurants in the area and there's a Lidls and a big supermarket around the corner. I would definitely stay at Pension Gasteiner Hof again on our next visit to Berlin.

We thought that a kettle in the room was the only thing missing to make the stay just that much more enjoyable -it would have made a subtle difference to come back to the room in the afternoon to be able to make tea or coffee.

We stayed one full week, and would by no doubt stay there again if travelling back to Berlin at anytime.

Excellent and VERY CLEAN guesthouse - true value for money. We had a very large double room with balcony and bathroom shower and the only small complaint was that it is an old,converted apartment building and one night we could hear the people above us coming home from a party. However, I will definitely stay there again when I am back in Berlin. I don't think there is a better place for this price and location (15-20 minutes by underground to the city centre). Staff were very friendly and did lots of extra little things to make sure we were happy and comfortable. We got a free underground map and a good explanation about how to get around when we checked in, and they can sell you transportation tickets right there at the reception desk. I higly recommend this place for people who don't want to pay more than 60-70 Euros but still expect a clean, nice place to stay.

After visiting several European cities,I consider that the Gasteiner Hof is most attractive hotel. It has a excellent location where is very near by metro station ,internet cafe, supermarket, laundry, and restaurant.

Very nice and clean hotel almost in town center. Very good and diverse breakfast with almost every think you may wish for breakfast!! Quiet street,some restaurants in close distance!
