Hotel Fischer - Berlin

This adress was given to me by the "Routard "guide and I prefer this kind of pension because ,it have a more "warming atmosphere than hotels; we can speak with the employees and give advices to travel in the town. we have been in this adress 2 years ago!

Nice hotel, definitely recommendable. But you must be ready to carry your luggage to the third floor - no elevator.

My room (Nr. 4) was very small, but perfectly adequate for one person. It was also very calm. The mattress was excellent. My only criticism: a slight smell of stale tobacco lingered in the air.

La pension Fischer offre un très bon rapport qualité-prix à tous niveaux : situation géographique, proximité métro, état des locaux, propreté, accueil, convivialité, calme, petit-déjeuner varié et copieux. Elle conviendra à tous types de voyageurs : solitaires, couples avec ou sans enfants. Personnellement, j'y ai passé 3 nuits superbes et la recommande vivement !!!

Single room was small (I referred to it as "the cupboard"), didn't really need much more other than a place to lay down suitcase, so the best was at the door, making it difficult to get in / out of room). Bathroom next to room. I arrived at about 3pm when no one was going to be there, so keys were left at another hotel. Only met owner the next morning at breakfast. Breakfasts are served after 8am. On my last day I had to catch an 8am train, and my request for a "pre-packed" breakfast was flatly refused. Good location, close to all amenities.

The room was pleasant and clean. Breakfast was good and the host was helpful while on the premises. However, when we arrived we needed to pick our keys up across the street, use one to enter the building, climb 3 long flights of stairs, use another key to access the floor of our room and the third key to open our room, as no one was on duty at reception much of the day. Our room faced the street and was quite noisy since we needed to have the windows open. The location was excellent, close to city tours, public transportaion, restaurants and shopping.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Pension Fisher. I came with a friend, but she arrived a lot earlier than me. This was no problem however. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Very near the U-bahn station.

The relation quality vs price is good.The only disadvatage is that you to pay more paying by credit card

It was the first time at Pension Fischer,and I trawelling with my little son(3,5 years). There was only one not comfortable thing,it was not easy to bring suitcase from 3rd floor without elevator.

We stay for 3 days in Berlin and we think dat Fischer is a good hotel for families without children

The location of this property to the city centre compensated for very average accomadations. When the staff were around (breakfast only) they were very plesant.

Great location. Third floor walkup with 12 foot ceilings so be in good shape. Wonderful breakfast, very clean rooms and helpful staff. Warning! Very hot water. Shower stall is small. Terrific Turkish and Spanish restaurants across the street with the best service and food we had in 3 weeks.
