Hotel Comfort Weißensee - Berlin

We have spent a great time at the hotel. The only think that botherd us, was a noice of suit-cases wheels leaving and entering the hotel. Our room has been oriented to the back yard parking. This entrance should be covered by some kind of carpet. At least we haven't slept too long.

The only thing i have to complain about is the fact that the breakfast is NOT included. When reading the description it seems to be included, but in fact you have to pay 10€ for breakfast buffet. This should be clearly marked, i think! All in all, the price is very low for really nice rooms with more than enough space, the employees are very friendly, i would definitely recommend it! one thing to have in mind is the fact, that the hotel is a little bit outside of the city centre, to go to Alexanderplatz, it takes about 35-40min by tram (no underground etc. in walking distance). When you know that, it´s absolutely no problem!

We are a family of four with two teenage children so the desciription on the website of there being "Large Family rooms available" was appealing. On my booking page the room was decribed as a family room. It was a double room with two cots on the floor, not beds. There was barely enough room to walk between them. When I asked about the size of the room at the front desk I was told these are the only type of rooms that exist. Since there was no air conditioning the windows needed to be open in July. If you faced the parking lot it would be quieter but we were given a room on the street side which was very noisy with trucks on cobblestones all night. Even the hotel description describes the location as quiet and peaceful. The location is about thirty minutes drive from Mitte. The water from the faucet was pale brown.

Breakfast is not included, that's ok, but it's very expansive. Hotel is in the middle of the nowhere, but rooms are big and parking available. :)

It is a nice and friendly hotel with a slight remembrance of old East Germany. The biggest problem is public transportation to down town. But after all it only takes a litle more than half an hour, and you can buy a full day ticket to all kinds of public transportation in the bus with stop just opposite the hotel.

We were two families, four children aged 6-12, two nights stay in july 2008 on our way south in Europe by cars. Our two family rooms were spacious and good and the parking was exellent. The hotel is easy to find when coming to Berlin by car! We didn't even have to pay extra for breakfast, even though it's stated at Venere.com that breakfast is not included!*smile* The hotel is not very central, getting in to Alexanderplatz by public transport took us more than 30 minutes..There are not many restaurants, bars or cafés close by the hotel.

A very good hotel, very fine room, helpful employes. Only problem(?) as a tourist: You must go by both bus and U-train to go to Alexander Platz (about 40 minutes)if you don't want to drive in your own car.
