Hotel Carat - Berlin

Good gym within arms reach and the Ubahn makes this the same as living downtown, Friedrichstrasse connects to Sbahn, excellent if you intend to arrive from Tegel as I did.

Close to Tegel airport, but the city centre is also easily accessible by subway (U-bahn station is in 5 min. walk or 2 bus stops). Excellent place to stay a night before or after the flight. I stayed two nights on my way to and from Berlin and have nothing to complain.

We stayed in a double room, quite large and full of every comfort (expecially the bathroom!) Employees are very kind and helpfull. The position in not central but alexander platz is 15 min far by metro (absolutely perfect as every other public transport in berlin!). Simply a very good stay! Raccomanded!

The hotel is ideal for its close vicinity to Tegel airport. And U-bahn station is too about 500 meters, this allows easy access to downtown.

I was moving to Berlin and needed a pet-friendly hotel near the airport where I could arrive with my cats and just chill out before moving on. I was shocked that this place was only 29 euro, but highly rated (on venere and tripadvisor). But I went for it. The room was simple, nothing special, on the small side. But for 29 euro it was absolutely fantastic and perfectly clean. I'm very impressed.

Hotel befand sich im Umbau.Das Zimmer war zur Straße und sehr laut, nur Gardienen (also hell) und viel zu warm. Das Frühstück ist mit 11 €/Person zu teuer. Ansonsten war das Essen (Preis/Portion/Geschmack) sehr gut.

BAD BAD BAD!!!! No Internet despite the fact that it is advertised both on the website and the flyers. Since I was on a business trip and needed to get work done I chose the hotel due to this information. The fact that I was forced to pay in advance just convinced me further that the hotel owner operates his business on low standards which I don't approve of as a guest.

The sheets were not clean and had to be changed. Staff could not speak English all that well, but they did come change the sheets promptly. The elevator has to be the smallest one I have riden in. And the room was also tiny, but for the price I did not really care. I just needed a hotel near the airport and this seemed like a good match.

Nice hotel. A bit far from the main attractions but close to the u-bahn. I would recommend this hotel for buget travelers.

For the price, hotel chains offer a more spacious room with at least a double bed. The room was 2m by 5m with a single 80cm bed: looks like a monk cell.

Clean, comfy, close to city transportation and 10 min to Tegel.

I wanted to find something pleasant, not expensive and not far away from metro.i found it. Thank you!

The hotel is not very popular, but nice and quiet. It can be easy reached from Tegel airport. The hotel is not in center of city, but it is a small disadvantage.

The only one problem, he was that the room a mell bit to tobacco and I was with a child of 15 months.

Es un buen hotel, habitaciones limpias, colchones excelentes, espacio suficiente. Está un poco lejos del centro de Berlín, aproximadamente a media hora en metro.

The hotel was next to a building site and very noisy. Also the weather was very hot and the hotel was boiling. There was no cooling facilities. The hotel is in good location for people comming from Tegel airport (just on bus #126) and is also convenient to use the Underground

Shower was really dirty and they don´t clean it when we told them they have to do it

The hotel is at a 6 lane street and near the entry lane of Tegel airport. I did not find sleep that night. The hotel is recommended, if you do not have problems with noise.

It's well servet by transports,e they are very kind.I can suggest it to everyone.Only one thing:our room was on the street and we hear all the traffic noise!
