Stayed 4 nights in very spacious, clean rooms. Breakfast was very good. Service also very good with very helpful personal. Our rooms had conveniant balcony. Central location.

Nice hotel, excellent location My girlfriend and I spent four days at the Berliner Hof in August 2008 and we were very happy. We were given a very large double room and a large bathroom. The modern bedroom had a very large size double bed, wardrobe, medium size TV set with local channels, refrigerator, table and chairs. The bathroom had a bathtub and was very clean. Breakfast was included in the price paid and was very good: there was a selection of breads, croissants, cereals, fresh fruits salads, marmalade, choice of cheese, smoked salmon, fruit juice.. The surrounding area is excellent, couldn't be better. It's just few meters from the famous KaDeWe, and it's close to all shopping streets, the famous Zoo, public transportation..

This is a great value hotel in an excellent location. Right on the main shopping street with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants all within easy walking distance. Tourist information is on the same street as are cinema's, department stores, markets, Tiergarten park and zoo. We had an internal room with balcony (therefore the view was more concrete jungle than urban chic) however the room was extremely bright, airy, and quiet. There was no air conditioning which on very hot nights I would imagine would be uncomfortable but we just left the balcony door open and the room remained cool enough. Zoo station U/S Bahn are an easy 5 minutes walk away.

Our stay in this hotel was quite satisfactory considering its perfect location and the excellent price. However, we some observations: No airconditionning!As it was quite warm in those days in Berlin (August 2007) we had to stay always with open windows to have some fresh air, but suffering the uninterrupted traffic noise. No minibar to cool our drinks. Our credit card was not accepted without its secret PIN code. This was really the first time a Pin code was asked in a credit card operation!! Not remembering this code (because we NEVER used it when paying with our card in hotels, restaurants and shop all over the world) we had to pay cash and returned home with only a few Euros!!

The hotel was very good and the location just perfect, very close to Kurfürstendam and the Zoo. We will definitely stay at this hotel, when visiting Berlin again.

Je visitais berlin pour le marathon;l'hotel pres de la gare est trés bien placé(peut etre un peu bruyant);La chambre claire est trés propre.Le petit dejeuner buffet est abondant et servi dés 6h30.Les prix sont trés corrects!Pres des bus touristiques et du metro.Hotel en étage;A recommander

Une très bonne surprise pour cet hôtel : très bien situé (métro, bus et RER à 3mn à pieds), des chambres spacieuses et rès agréables pour un prix très correct. Très facile à trouver (ligne RER directe depuis l'aéroport en 30mn) et proche (en transports en communs vu la taille de Berlin)des principales attractivités de la ville. A recommander. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter lors de notre prochain séjour à Berlin !
