Hotel Augusta - Berlin

Absolutely not 4 star hotel as was advertised. Maybe 2++

Excellenct location, good quality for the reasonable price. Good Breakfast in a quite elegant saloon.

This is a clean and convenient cheap hotel in the centre of Berlin. The rooms are very small but clean and adequately equipped.

Lack of iron and ironing board in room a problem and coffee service did not include milk. Some biscuits would have been nice.

The staff were very helpful in every way. The location is beautiful in the center of Berlin.

A great disappointment: never changed sheets in 5 nights stay!

Very central location near to good shops,sights and buses to and from the airport and also metro. There was a problem one night with very noisy guests-a party of Italian students- and no one was able to deal with it that night as it was after 12pm. However the staff were very helpful the next day and changed me to a quieter (and larger)room at no extra cost.

Great location - good for exploring the Kurfurstendamm and for accessing public transportation. Helpful staff. Parking a bit iffy at times because it is on street, but once a space was found, it was great to have had the parking card.

Very well located, close to some cultural and entertainment sites.

The hotel is very well situated, the room was clean, and the breakfast good. There is evening restaurant or bar there, but the literature house next door serves excellent food and drinks, and so does an Italian Restaurant opposite.

The suites (Fasanensuite) are to be recommended. Excellent facilities and lot of space. Great bathroom and nice beds. Very good!

We`ve booked two double rooms but when we`ve arrived the one of rooms we got was big, easy to reach, other was small and located in opposite side of building and not so convenient to reach. So there should be different prices quoted for these two rooms because they were not the same quality. Otherwise hotel was good, rooms clean and nice decorated and suppose that we`ll use this hotel again for our stays in Berlin.

Off season prices made this a bargain stay at a good hotel. Spacious room, good breakfast, anonymous, competent service.

Hotel Augusta: a very good breakfast (included in the price of the room), clean rooms, and a perfect position to enjoy Berlin! The quality/price was very good. We moreover discovered the mistery of the stairs... the secret is.... We don't tell u!!! It could however be a problem for people with a motorious handicap. One little complain: we did not find the room cleaned in the evening, since we had gone out after lunch-time. However, we did enjoy our "sunny" days in Berlin despite the strong cold in this city during Xmas time! Marta and Silvo from Italy.

The hotel is located perfectly nearby a lot of shops and restaurants. we arrived by car and could park in the same street, 5 meters from the hotel, which is easy to reach from the highway. Breakfast is excellent, I would say **** at least!The rooms are perfect with a nice bathroom.

My wife and I had a great experience at the Augusta. Our room was nicer than we expected for the price. We decided to stay an extra two nights and were able to keep the same room rate. We did have to change rooms but the second was as nice as the first. The staff was very helpful with all of our questions. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Oh, there are some stairs but don't let that dissuade you.

Overall I hesitate between excellent to very good as a general scoring.

FIrstly location is very good. It takes about 10 minutes on foot from zoologis garten station.From Airport you can take Bus(No 109)and get off Ushlanstr. Secondly this hotel has a storong security. And wonderful breakfast, Room is very cute. Fine restaurant is next door.

A great location; I walked to it from the Zoo train station.

The room was spacious very clean and comfortable. Location was ideal for underground and shops.Would stay there again.

A good hotel as price per value goes. No lobby or communal area; Inadequate lifts. you have to climb many stairs to reach the rooms. Excellent location. Good breakfast.

We had some problems with the plumbing in our room which meant having to move to a second room on our second night. The second room was much nosier and inferior to the original room and no reduction was given in the final price despite the inconvenience. This spoilt the trip for us which was a shame as our original room was lovely.

Venere was an excellent company in providing these services. The location of the hotel, the price and the services were very satisfactory. But the hotels feuer with many stairs can constitute a hassle, especially for the travellers with heavy luggages. The joint second building of the hotel was not comfortable. Anyway we were accomodated in the first building where the reception and breakfast room are located. Overall rating is good and we are thankful Dr. Bahjat Abbasali

Beautiful little hotel, small but clean rooms, nice bathroom, also breakfast was great. would go again.

We were given an apartment and not a room. This was nice but had no heating so was quite cold. Also the pipes were noisy in the appartment

A very enjoyable weekend short break.
